Ouch!

But I'm afraid the Team did indeed cock up on a grand scale.

Quali today was weird: The rules need to be changed to ensure that the Cars are obliged to run a true Qualifying Lap in each Session they get to, or face a stern Penalty. If I had been a paying Punter today, I would have been seriously dischuffed.

Couldn't agree more. If you don't want to run in the top ten shootout you forfeit a position in that top ten. I know it's about saving tyres for the race so how about if you get through to final qualifying you're allowed a new set of tyres on which to qualify but not race. That would encourage teams to at least try.

To hell with the Fantasy League points and positions - who cares if it all goes for a ball of cheese if we are going to get entertainment like that!

I thought DC was about to orgasm at one point.

Yes, I was on the edge of my seat towards the end. Big congrats to both Maldonado and Frank Williams. Herr Cobbler made (in my opinion) a rookie mistake and I think it's time he hung up his overalls. Excellent mature drive from Lewis as well.

Yes, I have made my feeling about Herr Clogs well known on the PlanetF1 Forum.

His incompatibility with today's formula renders him a danger to himself and others.

Was spooted on F1 Forum just before they went off air, and is Sky F1.

Apparently a KERs unit in the Williams garage went "pop" and set alight a lot of fuel in the back of the garage.
Reports are one or two people have been taken to hospital, and possibly Sennas car has been badly damaged.

Senna's car badly damaged .............. can they claim against their Insurance, considering it was fairly well knackered anyway after The Cobbler's interlude.

Is there also footage of a shifty looking middle-aged German wearing Racing overalls and carrying a box of matches running furtively away ........................
