Eddie Jordan has contracted an upper body virus and DC appears to have joined the loud shirt club.

For the last time this season here is the qualifying report:

On the track Vettel broke the record for the most poles in one season, a phenomenal last lap making everyone else look like they were driving go-karts.

In our competition rookie Rick takes the honours with 31 points, a useful boost in his challenge for third place on the podium, especially as the other contenders have dropped useful points here. (A/S - 20 / Tivu - 20 / Sonnetpete - 21) And for the first time in ages everyone scored at least 1 point in qualifying

All to fight for on the track this afternoon, lets hope we have a thrilling race and good luck to everyone wherever you are in our little league :)

Hopefully the league honours and final standings will be announced later on this evening, it depends how fast the PFF1 site is updated. At the latest I will make the announcements first thing in the morning - Im off work tomorrow for the St Andrews Day bank holiday so can have a look :D

Who the hell wants a bank holiday in November??!

As an aside, when the league winner is decided, can we make the winner's badge a little smaller this year, the last one when used in a signature takes up most of the page on my little lappy. ;) Mentioning no names Topper. :-rofl2

Well you certainly will not have to endure anything from my signature this year, I just couldn't get to grips with those new tyres

My strategy for today relies upon Ricciardo ruling in the rain.

If only she would......of course that all depends upon where she tried to put her elbow when she gave it me

Well I suspect I may have blown what should have been a "nailed on" second overall by "following the ball" and swopping my key Driver from JB to LH!

Well thats the last race of the season over & Webber takes his first win. A race dominated by technical gremlins - The V got his car home 2nd despite having major gearbox gremlins due to lack of oil in the 'box. Jens takes an excellent third,

Lewis had an expensive sounding gearbox failure at half distance....

Now we await the forum league results - Ive had a quick look at the team selections in the league & the top 4 or 5 is going to be

1) close

2) interesting

:D

Crap.
Before the previous race I was in 3rd...and now ended up 6th!!!!
But very close for 2nd - 7th covered by some 40 points!

Looks like the BBC cuts have happened sooner, as their forum has gone off the air - probalbly forgot to boot the extra satellite time for the forum

Congratulations to Norm for taking first place, although that was really sealed a few weeks ago.

Tivu almost blew second place on the podium in the last race with a terrible last minute driver change (Jens --- Lewis)

I have taken third place - and with a score of 135 almost robbed Tivu of that second place - at the end there were only 4 points in it!

Rick takes a superb 4th place and is out best placed rookie this season. Fourth to seventh has just 27 points covering the teams.

More analysis in a few minutes when Ive had a chance to look at the tables.

Just saw it also on the PFF1 site .................. PHEW!

I nearly gave you the benefit of a "serious" gift/gearbox failure there Ross.

And well done to you Ross (You were crap last year ..............), to Rick and especially to Norm.

I would like to thank everyone who has taken part this year. Its been a great season, and very close for most of the competition. I think the fact so many of our teams feature so highly up the top end of the PFF1 game shows what a close run thing the league has been this year.

The 2011 season thread now reverts to the off season chat format, hopefully season 2012 PFF1 registration will open towards the end of January & we can start thinking F1 tactics all over again :D
