"Sources" seem to be right as Perez has announced his own departure from McLaren.

Mmmm it seems an odd way for McLaren to go about things, it is almost as though they have forced him out, especially after the previous statement of support by Jenson who I suspect is in his last season with McLaren next year.

A bit of a farce at the start of 1st practise- start delayed due to fog, then session red flagged as they has medical helicopter probems...
teams only getting about half of the 90 mins practise.

However, it is the first time I have seen shots the "nose camera" that rotates around 180 degrees forwards to back... very nice....and good if it captures some overtaking...shame indycar and nascar have had these for years and F1, the "pinnacle of motorsports" only just getting them!

Seems harsh issuing Jenson a 3 place grid penalty on that concatonated, cockedup 1st practice session, even the commentators had no idea what was taking place when the red flag was thrown
