In essence I guess F One's fan income comes in from other sources, e.g. merchandise. Though most of this will go to teams rather than to one of Bernie's companies.

The email that Maverick received was not from any firm of lawyers (though it was written in such a way as to make it look as though it was) but a firm who trawl through the net looking for infractions of copyright. I did notice they'd written a 'cease and desist' notice to Google for hosting someones football blog with Premier League logos. Whether Google took any notice is unknown. How they make money out of this is puzzling unless the get a 'finders' fee and subsequent bonus if they frighten the transgressor into closing down.

Ive had an email from Maverick saying hes working on an emergency strategy which he hopes will be able to use. It means missing the next race - Monza then carrying on from there.

No further details yet, but I'll keep you posted if anything comes of it.

Didnt you know the F1 league is like the Hotel California?

Id imagine it will mean changing the team and driver names a bit, and removing any logos, images etc.

OK we will miss the Monza race, because I need some time to remove the F1 Trademarks from the game.

But we will be back for the race in Singapore and we are able to continue the season.

To comply the guidelines of the rights holder, I had to get rid of the F1 in the site name.

That's why I changed the domain name to www.PFRL.net

After the restart you will find some strange named team components. I am sorry for that, but at the moment there is no alternative.
