The new qualifying has been deemed such a disaster its looking likely it'll be scrapped before the next race!

Bits of it were exciting, and frantic even. But on the whole it was carp.

I'll give my view in an hour or so - just sitting down to watch the C4 coverage - which for the first 15minutes has been uninspiring to say the least

Ewww - the new qualifying format is awful

Think most viewers would have been clock watching rather watching what was happening on the track....
Same with the cameras, not following a car on a hot lap, just cutting to the next victim...
Way too distracting.
Go back to the previous format, which was not broke.

C4s presentation looks very good. Well polished and Steve Jones seems to be quite good, asking good questions, and actually listening to the answers rather than simply going to the next scripted question, seems to be enjoying himself, , and not stumbling around like Suzi did. Hope it works as good for a live race....
