Spent some more time on the Audio problem and the specific issue is due to Skybox F3 receivers bring unable to handle Dolby D+ audio.

Sadly there are no lesser quality audio tracks available on these Channels.

Copes with AC3 etc, but maybe this shortcoming is as an opportunity to acquire some more receivers!

So that's two common hobby boxes already that can't cope with D+ audio.

Ten gets one there'll be lots more.

All could be resolved by giving more Audio Track options.

No problem with the sound here (using the DVBSky S960). Can't try on the VU+ as it's now a dedicated 28.2E box...

Tried to add the audio pids manually that did not work so tried adding a new channel that did not work either only France-3 working with audio on these boxes.

What about editing the channels on an external editor and setting the audio manually? Is it possible on these boxes? I've used the Clarke Tech editor on my DrHD F15 when it wasn't decoding the audio on some of the BBC HD backup channels in the past.

No because the tbn editor for these receivers is very basic & does not cover these parameters.

Can you set the box to just passthrough the audio? A fair few newer TVs should be able to decode E-AC3 through HDMI themselves.

AC3 is not the problem for 90% of my equipment it is Dolby D+ audio on the new Fransat FTA HD tv channels that some receivers cannot cope with.
I do not think it is a software problem I think it is a hardware problem in my opinion so a software upgrade will not solve this problem with the TM5502HD but I may be wrong we live in hope

I have told him that France-4 HD has replaced France-5 SD so in a few days the listings will be corrected.

Maybe someone with a Multi-Stream receiver/card can provide this information as my receivers are blind to these transmissions.

Playing a recording using VLC sorts the D+ issue out ............ A tad cumbersome!

Just scanned 12648 more channels added to streams 002 and 003!

Ahh fantastic!

That's DVB-T multiplexes R2 and R3 added then.

Now we have R1 on 11591 and R2, R3 and R7 on 12648V multistream.

Hopefully we'll see another transponder launched in multistream to carry the remaining two DVB-T multiplexes (R4 and R6 - the ones carrying M6 and TF1).

At least for now this means I can get D17 HD again (it doesn't currently work on a TNTSat card in OSCam).
