Update to new version is ok, remote control works with the version too
I discovered another error on my part, I installed the wrong Eprom, instead of FM24C64c (FRAM) I have a 24FC64 (EEPROM)
Unfortunately I can't find any FM24c64c in a DIP-8 housing at the moment

i m very surprised : both of these eeprom are OK , for me i m using atmel 24c64an , the only chip i had troubles is microchip 24c65 !!!
you need an eeprom chip !! (FM24c64c is an eeprom)
does locations 0 to 200 are ok ? i see on picture wrong datas on location 240 .

maybe your serial cable is not ok and nothing is written in eeprom ???
factory reset :: push power button on front panel before power up and keep push it until an erase screen appears !
all datas are erase but values are useable .

Factory reset, that was missing and only now activated the EEprom
I ordered a new USB-TTL cable because my old one was not recognized by Win10 (wrong chipset that is no longer supported)

I ordered exactly the Prolific TL-2303 with TA chipset a few days ago, the one I currently have here is a TL-2303 HXA (WIN10 NOT supported in HXA/XA chip versions (will show yellow mark Error Code 10)) Do you also pass on the "Interface EEprom Positioner" software? Here are current pictures of how the current status is after the factory reset.

you need to write your own sat list, mine is sat1jp82.asm which i sent you earlier
you need a good usb/ttl cable (when you receive it i can help you)

check spam basket there is a zip file called "asmb2"

Yesterday I searched for everything, also the spam folder.
Everything sent you have i in a separate folder, there is nothing with "asmb2" zip
Just send it again, I just need a sample file where I can build my positioner settings.
A small instructions would not be bad, even how to install the file then.

i have made some improvements so the new program works with a new database (data format is different )

I received several different requests concerning my positioner.
initially I created a 2-axis positioner (azimuth elevation) with polarotor skew control.
-I was asked to add the management of the LNB changer based on a diseqc engine.
-I then added a management of 4 declination values for LNBs mounted offset in the vertical direction.
-I'm working on a version with 4 motors: 2 for azimuth, 1 for elevation, 1 to change LNB, this on a 2.80m dish. for this version I have reinforced the power supply and increased the size of the firmware. -I am asked for a portable version powered by batteries.
this is very interresting for me!!!
