The problem is, i could user some long washers to move the lnb back, but if I did that would it not put the lnb off center?
It shouldn't do if you move it equally but it would be much nicer to do it by making the clamp work better than having a big stack of washers. The thing is if you have to take it apart and add washers that is not going to make it easy to meter. When you set the depth you just want to be able to pull it in and out while watching the meter and if you need to stop and add washers that process is not going to be fluid.

I work on quite a few dishes in that size range and I find the sweet spot for LNB depth is about 5mm deep. Looking at your photos I would guess you have moved the feedhorn at least 50mm from the original position, so if it was correct before you are a mile out now, or vice versa.

Gary, go back and have a look at the LNB depth in the other thread. That setup is working on a weak satellite so you know it must be pretty close to the sweet spot.

Ok more reading needs to be done because I am getting badr 6 but on a strong transponder (dubai sports) i only get 55% quality.

I think I will wait for my better lnb holder to come monday!

I pray it gets sorted before next saturday! LOL

Just get some sort of pipe clamp or saddle (like in the picture I posted the other day). One with 2 bolts would be better than one with 1 bolt as it would stop twisting. You should be able to get one in B&Q in the plumbing section. Probably to fit a 1" pipe would be good. But a proper LNB holder like the one in the picture would be better.

I have noticed this is exactly the same setup as me
That's why I posted it. I thought looking at that would help you make the bracket and also it shows the LNB depth. It's good because everything is the same (dish, LNB and feedhorn).

Yeh it looks good.

Another thought... how can i know when the feedhorn is pointing directly center of the dish?

Il go get the clamp tomorrow :)

Well to give you a rough idea on the Invacom LNB the seam between the two halves of the plastic casing are on the centreline, so if you look along that seam and are looking at the dish centre you are close enough. Turn the lnb 90º and have another look. Doing that will show you the centre in both the x and y axes.

You want a pipe saddle like the ones that hold your central heating pipes to the wall.
