It shouldn't do if you move it equally but it would be much nicer to do it by making the clamp work better than having a big stack of washers. The thing is if you have to take it apart and add washers that is not going to make it easy to meter. When you set the depth you just want to be able to pull it in and out while watching the meter and if you need to stop and add washers that process is not going to be fluid.garyg said:The problem is, i could user some long washers to move the lnb back, but if I did that would it not put the lnb off center?
I work on quite a few dishes in that size range and I find the sweet spot for LNB depth is about 5mm deep. Looking at your photos I would guess you have moved the feedhorn at least 50mm from the original position, so if it was correct before you are a mile out now, or vice versa.
