Most of my team are inactive this Wednesday does that mean I have to change most of my players, if so what penalty will I incur?

You are permitted 1 free transfer every Gameweek. Each addition transfer incurs a 4 point penalty - http://fantasy.premierleague.com/M/help.mc?category=transfers

It's part of the game to plan ahead of Gameweeks in which not all the teams are playing (or indeed to take advantage of Gameweeks where some teams play two games!).

You can still select players whose team (and therefore the player) will not be playing, but you will score no points for these players.

Ah well I'll be guaranteed bottom on Thursday then with only four active players:cool: Or can you play your subs to supplement the team?

I realise RTFM probably applies but I have neither time nor patience to do so

Don't worry, I've got a similar problem, had a couple of inactive players over the weekend as well. :)

But I think 11 is rather a lot don't you, so can I play my subs without penalty?

Yes, just swap in your subs, they are yours to do with as you wish.

Can Michael Barlow (Eckythump) please identify himself by 10pm tonight. All new entries today must identify themselves by 10pm tonight, new entries will not be possible after that time.

I'm feeling lucky today, so watch out!

The Rooney injury and Ronaldo suspension have hurt just about everyone's team, so it will be interesting to see how we all deal with it.

I'm going to drop Ronaldo for the games to the bench, no point in transfering him when I have a decent trio of strikers.

After successful negotiations, I am pleased to annouce that those teams which finish in the top 5 of Satellites.co.uk PL SupaLiga 2007/2008 will qualify for the 2008/2009 UniSat Champions League, a joint competition between PL SupaLiga and the Alsat Fantasy Premier League, of which the top 5 teams will also qualify.

Additional information - silentalarm was a member of both leagues. In negotiations, it was agreed that silentalarm should exit our league and be only a member of Alsat's league (the smaller league). Also, T_G two son's (Roy Keane and Sir Alex Ferguson :D) will not be eligible to qualify as they are not forum members. Should either or both finish in the top 5, the place will go to the team finishing in 6th (and 7th). The UniSat Champions League will take place on the UEFA website, following the real UEFA Champions League, starting season 2008/2009.

No surprises for guessing that Norm is August Manager of the Month. The champions Donkeytown are already 40 points ahead of second place Germania, but there is a long, long way to go - it's a marathon and not a sprint as they say.

Another interesting observation to make is that 7 of the top 10 are returning managers from PL SupaLiga 2006/2007. Not that experience has particularly aided wolfav, he'll need to improve if his to better last season's 8th place finish.

malcolm, who only lost out on the title last season to Norm on transfers, is having a dodgy start to the season, and last season's third-from-bottom Linhas and his Dragoes are having a bright beginning this term.
