So by my reckoning these are last years teams who havent signed up yet (or who havent joined the league yet)

Chris – Slowhand Racing
kleefarr – Honda-Williams
misterminibus – Pro-Drive
Oily – Team Oily
pazinho – Outcast Racing
pgh13 – Non PC Racing
RedDevil_UK – Speedy Devils
the_happy_traveller – Caravan Racing
wod – Team Wod

Pazinho hasnt been around for several months so maybe we can scratch him out

A point to A/S :) Yep, that is indeed the remaining cast from 2008 yet to sign up. I'm hoping that some from 2007 and 2006 might be persuaded to return, including T_G (IG Racing, 2006), john_graydon (Delights in 2007), MattJ (Draconigen in 2007) and wolfav (Bangers in 2007). Some of the footie managers might join also. Hopefully we can get 20, which would bring us up to getting a Champions League place IIRC.

Send them a PM Salty, I'm sure they won't take offence if they don't want to play.:)

Will do that soon. I always send PM to members that I think may be interested, just to let them know in case they somehow miss the adverts (which will be appearing shortly!) :).

But you're not actually entered into the league yet, have a look at the league page - http://www.purefantasyf1.net/MyPFF1Sat.asp?MYD=48&LA=En

You're going to need to do the following:

1. Log in and go to the 'My Teams' page.
2. Click on 'Join a league' next to where your Pro-Drive team is listed.
3. On the following page, look in the 'Individual private league' drop-down menu for the league's name - Satellites.co.uk F1 SupaLiga 2009, click on the league name, then input the password below and enter:

newrules

Hope it works :)

Help!

I have tried to follow this but I am already in a league & don't know how to change it, this is what I see
*01 pro-drive (1033.) [Edit team] League: Pure Fantasy F1 Professional League

any ideas?

Is there an option to 'Leave league' on the 'My Teams' page (the one A/S has shown)?

Ah - create a new team in the top slot, then join that one into our league.

I think you have created the bonus team that goes into the general league but not the main team :)

Welcome to the league mister! I was hoping to launch an assault on the title, but since my p***-poor season in the fantasy football, I'll be happy not to finish bottom :D

Hmm this looks intersting for 2010:

FIA Formula One World Championship 27/02/2009

In view of the difficult economic conditions which continue to affect Formula One sponsors and major car manufacturers, the FIA is preparing radical proposals for 2010.

If adopted by the World Motor Sport Council, the new regulations will enable a team to compete for a fraction of current budgets but nevertheless field cars which can match those of the established teams.

These regulations will not affect the established teams which now have stable backing from the major car manufacturers, but will enable new teams to fill the existing vacancies on the grid for 2010 and make it less likely that any team will be forced to leave the Championship.

The proposals will be submitted to the World Council on 17 March.

Thanks to everyone that has joined up so far, it's very encouraging to see how many of you keep coming back for more, not to mention signing up so far in advance of the openng race in Australia!

I'm cynical about this. The FIA may well be able to bring down the base cost of getting a team up-and-running and getting to races, but to make them competitive? I seriously doubt it. Still, this may well encourage Russian/Arab billionaires to join in.

All links are should now be live, the site must have been updating to the new look when you attempted to access the site :) Great to see you're coming back Johnny.

Wonder if they are going to drop the "teams must run 2 cars" rule?
