They rise fine, and I do get the fat smoking, I just cant get holes in the middle all the time like my mum used to, I will keep at it.

Slightly larger trays then (Or a tiny bit less batter): I used to use Bun-sized ones, but find the very best are Muffin Trays.

You might have hit the nail on the head G , I have used the same tray for a few years now, I do have some different ones, I will try one next time ,

I make my own bread from scratch from time to time, I have this of to a tea now, do you do your own bread G ?.

I'm getting a fantastic aroma from our kitchen where the Chicken for our Dinner is coming on nicely: Did the Jamie Oliver bish-bosh with several cloves of Garlic, then there's freshly picked Rosemary, Olive Oil and oodles of Seasoning. No Lemons in the larder, sadly.

Got a local pub to deliver dinner to the office this afternoon.
It doesn't look much but I'm still stuffed now.

Yes, it is.....been following it since just after New Year and have lost about 5kg.....


.......have also resisted translating it as 5 Mars bars to 2 Bounties.....
