Take off stub, peel back sticker, hardware limits from factory:

Loosen hardware limiters, half a turn of the screw was enough, you feel them loosen, slide all the way round and tighten:
View attachment 131881

Usals wouldn't send it past 60e (some kind of 60 degree limit with usals?)
View attachment 131882

Diseqc 1.2 or manual button allows it to go this far, much further than usals:

Moral of the story is adjust hardware limits, and use diseqc 1.2 for the further out sats if you need too
Great i will check mine if mine is set 60 I will move it to 65 and use DiSEqC for 52 e
Happy days
What are you trying to get after 52 & 53 e
I think dish have to mounted 8 meter high unless you live on the top of hill to have a chance to get some sats after 53
But no harm trying

So, why have you sent your TM back?

Because I wasn't clever enough to read the manual :-lol
It was waiting to be picked up but now I think I'll keep it

Usals will get you to 53e no problem. I wasn't after anything in particular, but I can get 52e from ground level, anything past there is a bonus, but if the motor wasn't going to go any further then I couldn't even have tried.

My dish is less than 2 metres from ground level and I get 57E....

Being able to find anything past 52E/53E depends a lot on the size & performance of the dish, AND whether there any buildings/trees/hills etc., blocking the line-of-sight because those sats are low in the sky - in my case it's a couple of houses that were built around 20yrs ago, but before that my old NEC H-H mount & 80cm dish could sometimes pick up channels from around (IIRC) 56E/57E.

I am not able to go further than 52-53
Otherwise dish will hit the wall

There's little practical value in trying to go any further East than 53E as none of the Ku band sat beams beyond that are really strong enough to be picked up on a 75-80cm dish (even my 1.25 Gibby struggles with most of the transponders on 53E, except when the weather is very clear). Similarly, there's little beyond 30W except for a number of strong but encrypted channels on 34.5W (and maybe China Radio on 45W but the SX88 won't handle an SR that low). Thus, realistically, you should aim to optimise for decent signals from 52 (maybe 53) East to 30W.

30 -52
I think more than satisfying on 75cm xp

My next step is
Take the dish off remove motor stub and increase the limit a bit To get 52e
Put it back on
Then I have to take the cable into loft
Bring it out at the other side of house then straight down to sitting room
I measured it 17m
Got 20m Wf100 cable
17 to 20 m makes any difference to signal ?
Other option is to bring it down from dish and hide under stones next to wall then bring it under drive way then inside
Not sure what’s the best
Both ways cable will be about 17 to 20 m

Difference in loss between 17m & 20m is negligible - would not hide under stones, etc., because it would be more susceptible to damp, and/or to physical damage when someone moves the stones and forgets/do not know the cable is there!

??? The wall is on the west side
Yes but when it rotates and at 52e
It’s only 2 inches away from front wall

Moving the dish down the stub will give a bit more clearance on the east sats but reduce clearance on the west sats. How close does the dish get to the house on 30w?

West side no problem as last sat is 30 w then neighbours wall blocking line of sight though dish can go further maybe till 40w
But if I lower the dish on stub I failed to find arc.
Any method of getting arc if I lower the dish on stub.

Also turning the second "wallmount" attached to the real wallmount

When I started I mounted the dish on stub about 1 inch higher
That time I got everything apart from
42 and 52

But then dish have to go bit west to correct the arc. And problem remain the same
Motor still stop at 51 east

Is it not better to increase the limit on the motor by 2 degree
Then I can receive the arc including 52

It really should make not a jot of difference where on the stub you mount the dish. It's fundamentally about angles, which remain unaffected by the variation you are experimenting with.

All you're doing is moving the dish an inch or two closer to a Satellite 22000 miles away. Pointless.
