OTOH, it would appear that that the issues are mainly to the West because your problems start "earlier" on that side than to the East - therefore it's likely that, when aimed at Thor at 0.8W, the motor is actually very slightly misaligned a very little bit to the East of where it should be, as that would favour" the signal levels on the Eastern sats to the detriment of the Western ones.

Having seen @Gladstones55's subsequent post makes me now think I was probably wrong in saying that the dish is "very slightly misaligned a very little bit to the East of where it should be" - I now suspect that it is the opposite, i.e. it could be very slightly misaligned to the West. :-doh

Don’t worry I understood your comment that time that you meant West

Great! - thus have you now tried aligning the dish very slightly to the East when set to Thor at 0.8W?

motor stub got bit play in it
took motor off stub is bit shaky is that normal
this movement is causing lost of signal on 42west ,thor and 30w

If you've taken the motor off then why not try the dish on its own, see if you can get 42e (you'll need to skew the LNB ). Also get some signal quality readings for other satellites for reference when going back to the motor :)

That "play" is referred to as "backlash", and most (all?) similar dish motors have a facility for adjusting that - usually (?) there is a small aperture in the motor casing with some sort of screw (a small "Allen" key in the case of my Alsat motors) behind it which you turn very gently until the backlash disappears, and then back it off by a quarter turn or so to reduce excessive wear on the adjuster and gearing.

I've never used that TM motor, and I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing that the adjustment aperture might be behind that small "Quality Control" sticker, and/or another one with something like "warrantee void if removed" on it!!! (that's how it is on the Alsat motors) :-rofl2

If you do remove a sticker like that then make sure you put it back when the job is done (maybe with a little grease of some sort in the aperture to help keep water out).

PS: both of my Alsat motors needed backlash adjustments very early on, so it would not surprise me if your TM one also does.

Tried dish only on 52,42,28,19,13,5 east signal is 100%
on west side 0.8,5 & 15 90%
30 west 85%

I just received an TM2600 motor and it too has a wobbly stub, appears the movement is at the bolt that attaches the stub to the motor rather than any slackness in the gears.

So you can get 42e :Y 100% readings aren't too useful, try to find a weaker transponder on each satellite that doesn't max out the quality reading.

Need to find out the weakest TPS for 75-80cm
First any link point towards that
I already seen William strongest Tp list

Opened bolt removed stub easy looked the shaft it’s metal and no play in it
I tight it 1/2 turn it’s rock solid now

Can get tight more but I feels that’s enough

Looks like stub is

Just blind scan every sat and then go through the transponder list on the Octagon, if its the same as the Edision it's menu -> installation -> TP List.

Before I start again few questions

best sat to align
Dish elevation to set
Dish attached to stub position low , middle or up
