Installed new feedarm, but...... that is not all what need to be done! There are many varieties of distances that can be made different. In green- the feed (LNB ) should be adjusted that all distances to the edges of the dish are equal. Then, subreflector, should be placed strictly in the middle, when distances (yellow) from it's edges to the edges of the dish are same. Finally, distance from all edges of the SUB to certain bolt head on the surface of the dish should also be same. And, I would say, that all measurements should be done with maximum precision, lets say.... 1mm. Not so easy.... but, wait a minute... I like it!

Yes indeed.

Sadly the same programmes can be found dubbed into many languages and transmitted by many Channels on many Satellites.

All this capability and still not much of value to watch!

No problem with that, I am not watching TV  Main goal for me was "to be able to install and get good reception".
There are couple of other pictures with better SNR, including DVB-S2

I agree. The comment was not about your own admirable work, but the paucity of quality stuff to actually watch.

Ergo, like you, I generally don't! (Watch, that is)

Congratulations, my friend.
Great achievement - now the speculation is over for a whole bunch of folks living in the Baltic and Poland as to what size dish you need to receive 2E/F/G!

I have to admit that I originally through I'd get the 2.4 up before your 4.6, but I must admire your tenacity and focus (no pun intended).

Celebrations are indeed in order!

To make antenna's positioning easier, have made very simple, but effective mechanical positioner. Now antenna is pointed to 28,5*E. Of course, for more precise tuning I will use maximum of signal value.

Whoohoo! Nice catch! Probably the same size dish I need to get 36E Russian beam here...

Is that still with an offset IBU at focus?

IBU is nice LNB, but for this SUB LNB wit illumination angle of 120* is needed (means, LNB for PFA). So I got first lock when using GI-209P, afterwards replaced it by another LNB with opening angle adjusted to 120*.

No, Alex, I did not cross-string it. Only string by one thread to measure dish depth. Even if I cross-strung it I would never be able to fix the shape, as there is lack of adjustment possibilities.

Next target would probably be- start using it, find out what I can get from different satellites, what are the limits of arc, play with C, Ku and maybe Ka bands. Proper motorization of the dish is also tough target. Perhaps I need to make some kind of roof above the mount (where I painted yellow) just to be able to work there in bad weather conditions.

I think it is impossible to finish something in SAT-reception.... when you make some adjustments you always think it was better couple of moves ago. o_O Of course, this statement applies not only to adjustments themselves, but also to the hardware. When I made flanges for central tube, possibly, they were not perfect, so last night I 've made new one, trying to make sure it is more perfect. But, in reality, nothing and nobody is perfect... even @T....., I mean NOBODY!
Lowest sSNRs are, as usually those which are DVB-S2 compression.

Am I to understand that these are your "memory sticks"?

BTW Nice project!
