Citrus like inside? then I suspect they are citrus japonica otherwise known as cumquats. My mum used to have a small bush in her garden

Unlikely. Do you mean the passion flower? I have one (possibly more self sets alongside) some 25 to 30 years old covering the west wall of my house up to a height of 25 to 30 feet and now growing up the TV aerial mast.
