...Our decoder has no DVB-S2X, and it perfectly locked in NS3 mode.

You can probably get Novelsat to add DVB-S2X as an extra option for the line mode if you want it.
It will not be free, you will need to give Novelsat some $$$.

Four channel mux of English Premier League soccer feed in NS4 from 7.0 East.

@satesco
It might be interesting to see if your TBS6903x card with IQmonitor can lock and display the frequency parameters of this NS4 mux?

Three channel mux in NS4 from 7.0 East on 11167V.

There are two other frequencies, one on each side of 11167V that could be NS modulation? They are not locking in CrazyScan or with an Octagon SF8008 (DVB-S2X capable)
I measured their frequencies to be at approximately 11150V and 11186V.

All three of these frequencies have very similar carrier width at about 17.5MHz

A few screenshots of the synced and locked NS4 mux on 11167V are attached below.

Following on from reply 63 directly above, I checked the frequency of 11186V on 7.0 East and got it to lock and sync in an NS2000 demodulator at 11185V.

It is another three channel mux in NS4, almost identical to the feed on 11167V except using a different range of PID's for the channels.
A few screenshots of the synced and locked NS4 mux on 11185V are attached below.

Luckily it is not my money! It would be impossible for me.
I believe they just contacted the manufacturer for possible update and S2X implementation, but I don't know what they will decide to do. We will see.

To get the latest software/firmware updates the NS2000 needs to have a valid support contract in place.
The silver level of support is the lowest price contract that gets updates.

I checked with IQmonitor the NS3/4 muxes you posted after this one. Still, unfortunately, none could be locked, which makes me think that 10973 V,34285(#54) was an accident(?) because after I found out(#61, above) that there are several NS3 demodulators(S2, NS3, NS4, S2X), I thought that the transmission of this mux was a mixed one if there is such a thing. IQmonitor locked the signal and displayed its parameters without being sure that this is why.
To make a long story short, I don't think the Windows DVB app can process transmissions in NS3/4.
I hope other users will refute me with concrete examples.

@satesco

Thank you for your feedback.

Just to confirm a point, the NS2000 that I use has a drop down selection option to place the receiver into the mode.
The DVB-S and DVB-S2X are not sub-modes of NS3/NS4, they are just the standard modes for DVB-S and DVB-S2X that you can use with quite a few receivers.

I checked your screen shot uploads for 10973V and it did lock the correct SR but not the correct FEC.

Could I ask, what version of IQmonitor did you use for the scan where you got the correct SR for 10973V?
I am not sure if there would be any difference in scan results from different versions of IQmonitor?

Still looking for women tennis feeds.
This evening WTA finals event will begin in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, starting at 9pm UK time.
I'm not able to find the feed as in previous tournament, probably due to an old, not updated demodulator causing no services available in some NS3/NS4 muxes.
But I'm pretty sure that these tennis feeds are in some NS3/4 mux.
Any suggestion please? Thanks.

I don't know if I'm saying something new, but those who work with the DVB app have had to deal with errors or bugs in the scanning process. IQmonitor is no exception, even more so for 6903x/6909x cards, which Ukrainian developer does not have.
I won't go into details now, but I can say that FEC is the parameter that often gives errors. Or rather, it changes most often depending on several factors, the most important being the symbol rate. Not to mention that each DVB app developer sets its algorithm for searching parameters.
I would say that the difference between the standard DVB app under Windows and NS3/4, when it comes to the S2X extension, is that the parameters are found by blindscan, which, when the transmission is MIS (multistream), can be different. In contrast, with the NS3/4 device, the parameters are given by the operator and cannot have deviations.
So it is not the wrong FEC, as you say, that we should look at, but the difference between standard DVB mode applications (Crazyscan, EBSpro, IQmonitor, etc.) and the proprietary NS3/4 device. As far as I know, Novelsat does not have blindscan implemented in their standard device
For 10973 V, I used the latest IQmonitor version, 1.0.2.8.

@satesco

I confirm that the NS2000 demodulator does not have a blind scan. The signal parameters are entered manually using the Line Configuration options.
Thank you for confirming the version of IQmonitor that you used.

I removed it for reasons Im not willing to go into.

Feedhunters may well be disappointed - Id guess much will be transmitted over fibre links. We will soon see though.

Can you please confirm if there are backups of the World Cup feeds on NS3/4?

For the past few weeks, I have not checked any of the NS3/NS4 satellites that I can receive.
The dish I use for NS3/NS4 is being used on other satellites at the moment.

I have seen screen shots and read reports that suggest there are World Cup soccer feeds on NS3/NS4, however, I have not confirmed this myself.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I would like to be able to follow the NS4 theme, can you tell me the forum/community where you saw these reports?
