Yes John here's a spectrum picture from my 1.8 CM during the week

Cheers Tony for the info, the comms channel has always been a constant strong signal and sounds like it would be interesting to ear wig it.

Has the signal level changed since going off air, and coming back on?

The whole band went very low, virtually flat lined, data stuff and everything with me Chris around 2pm Chris. When Newsnet came back up it was stronger than normal.

Are the changing the birds, around up there?

Or is it a technical fault?

Hi guya,

I have my 1.8m Raven parked at 16e for the BBC/Sky feeds. Do you think I could latch on one of those American KA band LNBs to also get 19.2 east if I angle it right? Wouldn't mind trying to see these ITN feeds without moving from 16e.

19.2E ka band signals are lower than the ku signals.

On a 1.8 dish you should be in with a good shout. As my Hughes lnb is about 4° of centre, on my 1.5 gibertini dish.

16°e ka band (21ghz) for me is dx'ing, different lnb.

You might struggle getting the two lnb's 3° apart.

Yeah I would give it a go.

The lnb has to come from the USA, they do pop up the bay from time to time.

If you get the hughesnet 18ghz lnb imho I would also purchase a ka band feedhorn.

Try not to use the one that comes with the buc.

And good luck :)
