.. How rude!.
Well i thought i'd dropped a proverbial testicle with the observation i had made and reported on 30 mins earlier so scrubbed the post- so i thought lol.
All it was, was that i noticed the marker at 18500 V or 504.7 ish to be more accurate, was missing so thought i would share the useless bit of information with my fellow fruit cakes.
The marker is now back up and running.

Yep, that freq is just a tad under lock with me as well Llew - there's about another three from that plot that is also under lock.
Ka conditions not too great with me tonight - i can see the levels fluctuating slightly in real time on the meter.

Hi 18.635 Ghz busy at the moment first ITN then much higher level for a regional news unit, I have been seeing a carrier not sure what it carrying at 18.795 Ghz all on Vert pol.

Of all the receivers I have owned and still do which is many, the Hellobox8 is the only one able to pick up the data stream close to Newsnet in a blind scan, or indeed in any other scan. I have no PC card but sure they would be able to pick it up..
The frequency is wrong as I cannot set the correct LOF in the receivers menu..P1010013.JPG

Very good scopus. Many PC cards using Crazyscan BS sweeping usually finds 10963V. An example is post #484.

The bit rate seems to have dropped significantly, now very blocky..Newsnet.jpg

I saw this also yesterday on the analyser - the signal dropped to nothing for a while and very slowly started to come back out of the noise but never got back up to it's usual strength
