I have just received the new Octagon SX88+ Optima,
Excellent results so far I do like the new remote,
Blind scan works very well scans 10 east in less time than it takes to boil an egg,

Just one problem when I go to save my settings in Backup & recovery onto a USB stick only the DVB channel list is visible data that I can back up on the SX88+ Optima ?

On my Octagon SX88+ I can save all of my data onto a USB stick:-

DVB Channel list,
System setting
Stalker favourite groups
IPTV in Memory
CAM settings
Web TV data ect ect.

I hope this feedback will allow these features to be included on the Octagon SX88+ Optima,

Does the blind scan allow for selection of a specified frequency range or is it the full band of a selected polarity or the full band of both polarities?

Full Ku band blind scan 10.7 to 12.75 V & H no selection available atm.

i am also pleased with my SX88+ Optima but I do not understand the reply to your bakup query. What is 4761. I cannot yet backup my settings,only channel list.
N.B. I have just installed the latest firmware 1.05.18

Place a USB stick in your receiver then select back up if only the channel list appears then go back one step & select 4761 then go to back up & select what you want to save.

Great tx. I got an extra item " Dump firmware " Clicked on that; waited ages ("Please wait..." message) then when I clicked on "Settings export to USB" I got extra menu items to backup.

The SX88+Optima is a brilliant receiver with an excellent handset very reliable signals from a sensitive tuner,
The Blind Scan is fast & accurate I am using the Optima with the 100cm dish on my System-1 = Panasonic 43" HD & the SX88+ with the 88cm dish,
My current System-2 Toshiba UHD 43"=100cm TM5502HD & 88cm with the Amiko A4K,
This way I do not have any conflict with remotes,

As you say, 'brilliant receiver' and handset, I like the handset keypad with the numerals at the top, seems easier to hold and operate than the original SX88 with numerals at the bottom....jusy my opinion!

¿Have you or anyone any comments re: the quality operation of the motor settings with the 'Optima'?

USALS DiSEqC 1.3 is best for setting up a motor with the SX88 receivers.
My SX88+Optima is a single tuner satellite receiver.

OCTAGON E2TV Funktion (TV-Übertragung per Netzwerk-Streaming)

Genießen Sie das Satellitenfernsehen überall.

Ohne zusätzliche Verkabelung über Ihr Netzwerk wird Satellitenfernsehen auch auf Receivern möglich, die über keinen Satelliten-Anschluß verfügen.

Sie besitzen einen Enigma2 Receiver und möchten gerne in einem anderen Raum ebenfalls die Programmliste Ihres Enigma2 Gerätes nutzen, jedoch ohne weiteren Antennenanschluss und möglichst preisgünstig?

Mit einer OCTAGON SX BOX (SX88, SX888) können Sie es kinderleicht realisieren. Ihre Sender erhält es via Streaming von anderen Enigma2 Receivern, die sich im selben Heimnetzwerk befinden.
Neben dem TV Empfang über das Netzwerk, bieten die OCTAGON SX BOX (SX88, SX888) Modelle zahlreiche Multimedia Funktionen wie z.B. YouTube, Mediatheken des öffentlich rechtlichen Fernsehens und weitere.
