Any recommendations for a C Band LNB , From looking at all the feed back I have been reading Norsat 3000 series seems to be one of the better ones on the market .
Many Thanks
Hi MoonBase yes it was all your feed back on the Norsat 3000 series LNBs that got me thinking , All ok on the history of them from what I can see the better one is the Norsat 3120F as the Stability is 5 Khz and the other is 10 Khz . What price where you looking at . All ok on your personal perference its a case of finding things at the right price . Its a nice dish so think its best to get a half decent C band Lnb . The Ku band LNB came the other day also the replacement Corotor so I think I will make a start this weekend cutting the old arms off and installing Rimants ones . Just got to find some screws and a O ring .I have both the Norsat 3120F and 3220F LNB's sitting in the loft practically brand new and boxed. Their only use since purchased new was for one or two tests I did with them for a few hours. This pair of Norsat LNB's I have here are for sale if you wanted to buy one in the UK than import from the USA?
My personal preference nowadays is for a cheaper twin probe LNBF that is shoved into a polo pipe which removes the need for the dielectric plate on circular polarity satellites.
Your other option would be to forget about Norsat's and get an ultra cheap single probe Chinese LNB from Ali Express or more expensive identical Chinese LNB from Satellite Superstore (UK seller). The Chinese single probe LNB's come with a WR229 flange that will bolt on to your co-rotor C-Band port. There should be plenty of signal coming from your 3.7m dish that a more expensive Norsat LNB might hold no advantage over a cheap Chinese single probe LNB?

My thanks to all the guys who cut me a deal on there items
All understood MoonBase yes looking at the spec of both of them there is not much in it but since you have both I might as well go for the 3120F...
Thanks for letting me know Moonbase is payment ok via Pay Pal normal shipping is fine as your just over the river from me in north essex .
TBH, if you can't trust someone who's been on this forum for a very long time and has a great reputation, then WHO can who you trust (and I would trust Moonbase in a similar situation, as I would RimaNTSS)?Sorry but I do not do Bank Transfer to any one I do not know , All the others I have bought items from on this forum have accepted Pay Pal . Thanks again for the offer .
MoonBase when you bought your Norsat 3120F C-Band LNB from the states did it come with gasket plus nut + bolt kit ?
As long as you know the type, length and thread-form of the bolts, then it should be relatively easy to find replacements!..What about Nut + Bolts size I think it will be more straight forward to buy a kit .
Thanks MB I thought it did but thought i better check other wise it means more delays . All ok Jeallen01 on the nuts and bolts are available well after all the fun and games with the Ku Lnb I thought it would be nice to buy a Lnb that including gasket and nuts + bolts that way you know its going to fit . Yes the word is ready to fit
