Use a smaller sample rate in RECORDER-DEVICE should do it.

Just had a look at the scans.I spotted that one ,because the setting are the same for both Meteors I assumed the it was M2-3.Nice to know that I got one from M2-4.15.6 pm.The times that I state are the record folder times.
Edit The image is not cropped that is the limit of my scan range

My Satellite Setup
OpenBox X5 on a 1 meter motorized dish.
And now a 10 foot "C" band dish.

Custom built PC

They released a new version of satdump, nothing in it helps with my spike problem.

If I tune to 137.1 MHz and turn the LNB gain all the way down I get a huge spike right on that frequency, if I tune to 137.9 MHz I get the same, sometimes it affects some satellites, other times it doesn't it does affect the Meteor satellites, so I'm kinda at a standstill on those satellites until I can figure out where these spikes are coming from.

Any of you using the Nooelec or RTL-SDR type dongles have this problem??

This is the DC Offset spike. You can normally select a tuning offset so the software is looking at the spectrum away from this area. Some software can null the spike but it is difficult on a low cost dongle.

I've tried offsetting the LO frequency but it doesn't help.

Is there another way that i'm missing??

Makes no difference but when I change it and restart it keeps going back to 2.048 for some reason

You should be able to save the new settings somewhere in the settings tab iirc

Weird, I have the same settings as you and as before, and now get nothing but black images on the downloads from the Meteors.

I get great passes on the NOAA satellites.

I don't know if you have the same problems as me.Satdump scans all passes most are fringe no chance of an image.I get black scans too.I always seem to get a good pass in the afternoon. Most are product.cbor about 551 bytes.

The meteors need quite a bit more signal for a successful decode compared to NOAA. Any Meteor folder with a 551 bytes folder size when hovering the mouse over the folder gets deleted immediately - its an empty folder.

For the status of the Mets keep an eye on this page - its useful to flag up expected frequency & mode changes

Yah that's all I see in the live folder, I just delete those, some just have an empty folder.

Here is the last pass on NOAA-18 just a few minuets ago.

NOAA-18 pass 5-23a.jpg

Having some very nice weather right now, 73.3 degrees F (22.3 degrees C) and not a cloud in the sky. (at my location)

What I have found out lately is when there is a NOAA satellite in the same pass timing ( 5 to 10 min ) the NOAA satellite will swamp the downlink from the Meteor satellite.
