Ive had my system turned off through all the ongoing bad weather. I may turn it back on at the weekend as the weather is looking better.
I don't worry about bad weather or power surges, all my equipment is on UPS systems, and have equipment insurance with the UPS equipment suppliers, if anything gets through the UPS and damages the attached equipment I get new stuff for free.

Not bad weather like that - its been totally overcast, wet & windy the last 10 days or so across much of the UK so I decided it just wasnt worth running the system.

Ahhhh, man.....I wish it was wet here, after some very nice temperatures the last week it's starting to heat up again.

We had a really big fire about a mile away from the place a couple of weeks ago, we need some rain, I was on standby evacuation orders, I had all the hoses out and ready.

This didn't come over the top of that hill in the background, the fire bombers took care of most of it.

Finally after many days of too many satellites in one location a good RGB pass on M2-4.

A very good scan from M2-4 at 14.19 utc this afternoon EL76.98.
It looks to be over the top and we are under the cloud as usual.

Yes I get the same error warning if I update manually I had the same problem with WXTOIMG keplars not updating.
That was becuase Celestrak changed from .com to .org.The address that Satdump uses is a little different to the one that WXTOIMG uses.
I don't know if that has anything to do with the problem

I tried to look at that address directly, it's not a valid CATNR # according to Celestrak.

Had a very good pass on M2-4 today, but all the NOAA satellites are co-located and I'm getting junk from them.

The thick cloud over Germany & heading out to the east is Storm Boris that has been causing severe flooding & major chaos in several countries

southbound pass 68 degree pass to the west Probably the best M2-3 pass Ive ever had. Only problem Im having with sat dump now is the auto map generation has a bug in it so its putting fake landmass outlines on the map...

Thick mist over the Scottish Borders & down the east coast.
