Someone on a local forum here in Gran Canaria is reporting they CANNOT receive any of these TPs on an 90cm dish (using Sky "Add Channels"). Looks like the 120 cm dish size in the SES footprint may be correct for the 2F PE beam. Very odd knowing the history of the Canaries "spot" for birds at this orbital location. I am trying to get some more details of his set-up.

Apparently the receiver is a Pace TDS470N. Anyone know if it is known for it's sensitivity?

I have also received a local report that someone has started to receive.... "Comedy central +1 (127) has appeared and comedy centralX +1 (159) has returned after a long absence" via the EPG !! Seems odd knowing the previously posted information about the NIT. I have yet to find out his dish size.

the new 2F TPs are not in NIT yet.... only interim TPs are currently used by the EPG.

@huve: you get a strong signal of those two new data transponders... so they are def. not 2F PE - so no 2F signals on 11.45-12.5 bands yet.

Do you mean 11.008V and 11.186V? Could they be in 1N PE1? If one can trust the foot prints, it looks it could be stronger here than 2F europe beam. I do really hope it is not 1N PE2, it should be as strong here as in UK or Germany. I think 1N PE2 was tested only for a very short time, so I don't have any experience. From the spectrum one can see that my card works differently in lower and upper band when signal is weak, weird fluctuations in upper band vertical when horizontal is clean flat.

I don't understand that NIT info as other people have also reported getting channels that where temporarily on the UK spot. I am pretty confident that some Sky boxes are now looking at 2F.

Er yes, it had crossed my mind too. It would have made more sense to do this after the appeal was finalised.

i am positive my sky box is receiving some (most) moved channels from 2F PE. its easy to decide as there is no way in hell i can receive 2F UK so if i get any of the channels in question, that means its from 2F PE.
i do have: BT Sport 1&2 SD, NDTV 24/7, Travel - to name just a few. i did not have these yesterday (since the move on the 30th)
BT Sport 1&2 HD and ESPN HD are still pointing to the 2F UK, so no signal

i am positive my sky box is receiving some (most) moved channels from 2F PE. its easy to decide as there is no way in hell i can receive 2F UK so if i get any of the channels in question, that means its from 2F PE.

This may give us an idea of which interim tp's are likely to be turned off first.

Oh and be careful using the Flysat lists - a couple of the 126xxMHz frequencies appear to have their polarities round the wrong way (unless Im going cross eyed staring at them! )

i can confirm that my sky box also receives channel 127 and 159 from 2F. the signal strength bar is very telling.

well, i had to look this up, as i dont watch most of these channels

yes: sky epg mapped to 2F PE,
no: sky epg mapped to 2F UK, no signal

but 2f can do 11.7-12.5 -but they use 1N instead of 2F there .... strange.

It's got 48 transponders for Europe. 16 in band A, 16 in band C and 16 in band G, so nothing left for 11.7-12.5.

Another user in Gran Canaria has now manually scanned some of the TPs and is reporting some of the Verticals coming in on a 95 cm dish. No horizontals. Tomorrow I will briefly get access to the other house where I have a DRX890 with a 90cm disk and Inverto Black Ultra LNB (via multi-switch). I will scan the TPs and see what I can get.

It looks like the few Sky channels that moved out of the 11.45-11.70 band earlier to the 1N UK spot and to 2A aren't in a hurry to move elsewhere or perhaps they're not planning to move at all.

As far as I know 2a has lunched in 1998 and its life time is 15 years which means its is expired. When 2a will left 28.2 ?
