Isn't it just 1N that is moving to 2E though?
I don't think there has been any official statement as to what 2E will be used for except we do know the BBC has said they will use it. In theory 2E could take over 2A and 1N if needed. Or maybe 2A will stay until 2G arrives.

Ch5 is 10.964H - 2F Spotbeam. 8,5 dB SNR here - not stronger or weaker than it has been for weeks now. It was weaker in spring.
same as I am receiving, what size dish do you have? You are North of me (Neuburg a d Donau)

@solly: interesting you get those two data transponders on 11.008V and 11.186V. Those two are always listed as 2F PE beams. However you dont get those 12.5-12.68 GHz 2F PE beam transponders?

I think those two data transponders are not on 2F beam... but 1N...

any reason why they could not start moving other channels [...] off of 1N onto 2F (instead of waiting for 2E to "go live").
2F doesn't cover band D. Lowest frequency coverage is 10.950 GHz.

Test transmissions in band B on 11.464 H & 11.479 V. Looks like 2F UK spot. Anyone with Crazyscan able to get a constellation on these?

Those have been there all morning. They are data transponders like 11.008V. Modulated in 16APSK currently, 22500 symbolrate.

I am totally confused at the moment, as I have real problems with 11156 V and 10979 V (BT Sports!), which are supposed to be on 1N, but I cannot lock on teh HD channels and reception on the SD channels is more like Astra 2F

Yeah pretty sure 11.008V and 11.186V are on 1N PE2 as I can get them in Helsinki on a 1.8m dish. I can't get 1N PE1 at all.

@timo_w2s: yep, I think so too. They are the two strongest signals I get here from 28East...

@TonyWhalley: yes indeed, the 2F Spot weakens during the evening hours. 20h-22.30h are problematic hours with 120cm.
10979V and 11156 are 2F Spotbeam too ! However you can get those two on their final locations on the 2F PE beam now.

Thanks to you both...will have to do a rescan with both transponders in...... although still picking up on 10979V for SD...... I have been using King of Sats which obviously cannot keep up with the changes..... if someone has a better site let me know!

So you are doing better than me. I am just about to try a feedhorn and then likely a 150.
Its interesting as you are almost due North (with 120 and doing better reception wise) from me (125) and I am NNW of Steve Steve in Munich (150)

I really don't know which beam it is, probably 2F PE, but the change was a rather nice surprise here. For the first time ever I receive all (or maybe almost all) the frequencies in the 12500-12750 band of 28.2E.

28Ε_high.jpg

And this is the full spectrum of 28.2E now in my region (with a 1.25m Gibertini)
