According to Flysat that's DVB-S2 QPSK 5/6 which needs over 5dB for lock. Do you get pictures with that 2.5dB signal level?
Stable picture, signal quality at present at 3.3dB
second screenshot with transparent OSD is showing the actual screen, hope you can make it out.
Also signal quality at present on 11636H 30000 is only 1.8dB yet stable picture

Thanks, looks like the dB reading may be the margin above lock.

Technibox UHD-S
Does it "do" HEVC,and streams?
I'd like a double tuner FTA receiver that does HEVC & Streams... would this be the one?

No,I‘m afraid not,you need a specialist receiver(s),to receive those.
The Technibox UHD S is non-Linux,plug and play twin tuner pvr.

Do HD channels broadcast using 10bit profile?

Hmm the manual says both inputs have to be identical. If you swap the cables around on the DiSEqC switch like I suggested in my previous post, both inputs will appear identical, only with 28E & 7E having no signal on the second input.

@moonbase The screenshot is from the OP's Technisat, it would be interesting to know which transponder the signal level is from :)
@ozumo,12 points!
That did the trick.
Many thanks again.

Hi guys,

I hope this is the right place to ask a question about my setup.

I have this TechniSat TECHNIBOX UHD S 4K Digital Sat-Receiver Twin Tuner Satellite HDMI. It says it has two Tuner which means I can add two dishes, right? So what I did was I bought this bracket and now I have two LNBs on one dish and have brought both cables to the receiver. One LNB points to 19.2 E and the other one 28.2 E. I have put them in the right place and Both LNBs are pointing to the right satellite in the orbit. My question is why am I not able to have both satellites show channels? How do I switch from one LNB to another? Any help? For example can't I just move from channel on 19.2 E to another channel to 28.2 E?

Thanks

You need a DiSEqC 1.0 switch, use it to connect both LNBs to the same tuner. The two tuners are for LNBs that have two outputs.

If it has 2 separate DVB-S2 tuners, you should just need to set up each tuner seperately, in the set up menu.
Can you please post your set up menu, as I'm not familiar, with that receiver, and your current settings.

Good Morning and thanks for your reply.

So the two LNBs this receiver has will not work like I thought. My idea was that this receiver will accept 2 LNBs and then give me all channels from both of them in one. So I don't have to change any settings. For example channel 1 is one German channel 19.2 e and channel 2 can be one UK channel 28.2 E. I didn't know I had to buy this DiSEqC 1.0 switch you speak about. When you say "The two tuners are for LNBs that have two outputs." What exactly do you mean by that?

Thank you

You can get LNBs with up to 8 identical outputs. With the Technisat you'd connect two of those outputs to the two individual tuners, this enables you to watch one channel while recording another, similar to how a Sky+ box works. If you want more than one satellite you use DiSEqC switches so the receiver can connect to the correct LNB. The receiver is expecting to see the same setup on both tuners.

If you have single output LNBs you use a DiSEqC switch and connect them to one tuner only.

If you read the original conversation with the o/p, they also ended up using a swtich, though I'm not sure why if the receiver comes with two tuner inputs. Can you send a screenshot of the manual under set up for a two dish installation ?

A very good morning to you and thanks for your reply.

The settings I chose to use are on first image and on second image you have all the settings the receiver has. On third image you can see that both LNBs on receivers have signals from both LNBs that are mounted on same dish.

Thank you.
