The engineers are still working on the update as they've found an issue after testing.
They have promised to release an updated software next week but can't commit to a date other than it will be before the end of

Any ideas what its a clone of?

Unlikely to be a clone, the front panel design usually determines the layout behind, (button/display/USB port), and this PCB might have the detail of the factory code

FWIW, taking a pure guess - from the 1st pic, the small (tuner?) PCB is coded "20180705", so I'm thinking that that board was designed around June/July 2018, if that might give any sort of "chronological" clue to anything similar of about the same vintage??

The DT Legend relates to Meizhou - Plum blossom - DingTai of Shenzen China.

In reality a lot of sat receivers are just "black boxes" that give no real indication of where they were designed/made.

Therefore, it is sometimes easier to deduce that when you know what is actually inside the box - and thus photos of the latter could prompt someone else's memories of what he/she has found inside their own boxes &/or what they have seen elsewhere on the web.

Since people seem to be doing some "forensic" work to try to work out where this thing came from, and when, do you have any further shotos of the inside of the box (notably an overall shot of the main PCB and what is on/around it)?

Theres a new Beta patch out, seems to have sorted a few things.

New patch 1.04 non beta out no, seems to have sorted the audio on server channels, added redtube (mature content), all other reported issues still outstanding but getting there now.

July 5 patch sorted motor issues and few other minor issues, nearly there now, still few issues outstanding including diseqc switch settings, 7 day epg, some cam/card compatability issues etc.

Yep, can confirm the tuner performance-very good.
Iv'e got a few requirements i'd like to see implemented still but they are more aimed at an enthusiast type user so might be classed as a non essential task for the code writers and put on the back burner

Agree, they certainly changed the sw to delete all transponders before a blind scan as you could only do one at a time before. Not a bad box at all now..

Can you provide the full tuner model number, its not fully clear from the image
