With neumoDVB (and Crazyscan) on satellites

Inevitably, when we try to get a signal from fringe areas, we wonder if it is possible to lock this signal with the cards we have.
Of course, on this topic, I am trying to see to what extent the same card, tbs6903x, which I have used for tests on other satellites, gives the same results with neumoDVB and Crazyscan.
This time I will add the 6983 cards for those intensely interested in satellite reception. And at this position, we have signals from two spots far from my area, the Middle East and Russia. I thought it would be interesting to find out to what extent the 6903x and 6983 cards respond to a relatively weak signal, which is rather weak because of my antenna of only 1.50m. (Fringe also means the size of the antenna to the target spot).
So the test is on a satellite, like many on the arc, which has more transmissions for Data, which decreases the interest of many users looking for tv/radio programs. But for developers like Deeptho or enthusiasts, such positions might be of interest. At least, I hope so.
The comparison between dvb cards is necessary, and I think I don't change the intention of this topic too much if I add another card to these tests from time to time.

neumoDVB works fine so far at 90.0E. Only that again, the app finds and repeats hundreds of times a mux,10852 H,18000,32/45,16APSK, with extension S2X, which is inserted on the list of Muxes on three pages, just like other positions.
I want to observe from an aesthetic point of view and for clarity. Often neumoDVB finds countless muxes cluttering the spectrum so that the active and functional ones are "lost/covered. If the spectrum area were larger, I would have nothing against them so that the muxes would appear distinct and separate. Even in this situation, using the application for personal use would not be a problem. But we share our experience with dvb cards and applications on the forums.
On this occasion, with Crazyscan, I found a 256APSK mode under Windows at 11435 H,10000. I made a video of how to find such modes on muxes with S2X extension for those working with 6903x/6909x: "Update/check modulation info."

This time neumoDVB found and confirmed some upper bands on 96,5E muxes that were not confirmed by users other than DX Bozoth.
But there is another thing I have to point out, neumoDVB manages to display those weak signals that other applications than IQmonitor cannot detect, but it does it only with the tbs6983 card (see picture). Remarkably, neumoDVB can show those subliminal signals with the 6903x card, which is impossible with Crazyscan.
Some examples of subliminal signals are here on the spectrum on the range with IQmonitor (with tbs6983) and neumoDVB (tbs6903x).

I think crazyscan makes other choices for the spectrum om tbs6093x. I have chosen for neumoDVB for the highest possible resolution and for more noise averaging.

And for IQ monitor: I like the spectra but I don't really understand how they are made. There is a huge thread on some other forum and it contains some hints, but not enough to understand. And the translation from Ukranian to English is sometimes hard to understand as well.

I think part of it is detection of the constellation and then some curve fitting adapted to the detected modulation.

I have never been able to find a card (among the ones I have) which actually worked with IQ monitor,so that is another problem.

Strannik has invested a lot of time/years and developed several versions of IQmonitor to exploit the capabilities of the 6983 card (in particular) to the extent that the app can find muxes and parameters impossible with other cards. You'll have to ask him how he was able to do this.
I know you have the 6903 card; with it, you can run IQmonitor tests with the same result as the 6983. Try it; maybe it will help you get the same results as 6983.
I don't want to take advantage of the situation, but from the beginning, when you started with neumoDVB, I wanted you to improve the driver for the STV091X-based chip. The performance of dvb applications for this chip is unmatched by other cards/demod.
If you improve the driver for this chip, I assure you that the results will be at the same level, maybe even better than other dvb applications under Windows. With 6903x, you have proven it with plenty.

After deleting these bis muxes, 122 remained, but if I had looked more carefully, the list would have been much smaller.

No need to delete anything. Just filter the list to hide the unneeded muxes (set filter for stream_id = -1)
