the 8 FTA programs on 2 transponders now work fine ,the Folklore ones a tad weaker than the news & docs ones.

1,8 Channel Master, Black Pro LNB with CM feedhorn for 28 E which is my main interest when watching TV. VU+ DUO 4K SE, VU+ DUO 2, Octagon SF8008 and Vantage 8000 S and TS receivers. Fixed dishes at: 42 E (0,75 m), 28,2/28,5 E (1,8 m), 19,2 E (1,5 m), 13 E (1,1 m), 9 E (0,7 m), 5 E (1,2 m) and 1 W (0,7 m).

There might be further adjustments but right now (and the entire day so far) it looks like this at my place with the 1,1 m antenna (outside Linköping in Sweden):
12616 H: 14,7 dB
12635 V: 15,2 dB
12654 H: 14,8 dB
12713 V: 14,7 dB

So stable reception! Glad to get City TV again (used to be at 16 E but was moved to 45 E).

They're all coming in well here. I really do believe this is a test of the spot beam and they're seeing how it works atm.

Yes, they directed the beam where it needed to be. Unfortunately, you have now lost the signal in your geographical area. I am reading and see that the signal has noticeably increased in Bulgaria. Somewhere as much as it has dropped in yours. I have not monitored the signal for the last few days, but I have checked today or I always have 17db in Slovenia.

Same in N. Ireland - from solid reception to zero! Ah well, I'm guessing that the "superbeam" than was in pre-launch publicity has been given a bit of a steer south-eastwards? Either that or maybe the new Hot Birds have similar beamforming to that of Quantum at 48E.

This new beam must have a hell of a steep cut off if the Bulgarian muxes are being received well in Estonia & Im getting absolutely nothing on a 1m dish in south eastern Scotland. :oops:

They are getting well received in Sweden too which is closer to you than Estonia.

In Slovenia, the signal varies between 15 and 17 db at gibertini 150. A little worse than it was at the start, but satisfactory.

Signal up today at my place in Sweden.
All Vivacom TP:s at around 15,5 dB now (1,1 m antenna).
Probably further adjustments will be made so we will just have to wait and see what comes out in the end.

12635 V 30000 ,absent
will return after rain stops... I hope!
That pair of TP is very convenient to fine-tune Hotbird indeed!

How is the signal on the H transponders (12616 and 12654)?
Here there is no difference between V and H.
