in e2 you have to use a utility/tools dvb-ip-mpe2ts

13.0E_11315 V,27500,3/4,8PSK has several pids, only one, which changes, is active. That's why it's on 224.31.5.2 now. Yesterday, it was on 224.31.5.6.
It's a radio stream, from which only audio "crackles" come out.

Harsh though it is your complaints are irrelevant to both the satellite operators & the tv channels. You are well outside the intended delivery target AND you arent paying millions of Euros every year for the transmission.

Make ther most of what you can get now - in 20 years from now satellite delivery of tv channels will be in severe decline in many areas of the world.

it seems eutelsat can design specific beams according to provider request. this feature is availble in hotbird f and g.

I did point out many times in the initial discussions of these satellites there was a "superbeam" on the new Hotbirds listed in the specs Id seen somewhere - but no one believed me...... Looks like I was right

The new Bulgarian muxes are definitely lower signal strength here than the other frequencies. Not by much but they are definitely down a bit.

All five transponders are on Hotbird 13F and the uplink is managed by eutelsat.

Regarding signal quality, it must be kept in mind that with modulation 8PSK and Fec 5/6, the minimum reception threshold is quite high, around 9,4 dB.

No problems with reception here in Northern Ireland, indeed the SNR seems to be stronger than the other transponders I get here from 13E, up to 1.5db higher than normal!

I take it Vivacom are in the process of moving from Intelsat 38 @45E to Hot Bird?

The Bulgarian muxes are at the same level as the other transponders on 13 F/G in the southern part of Sweden which means a very strong signal (around 17,5 dB with an 1,1 m antenna).
