Thanks D, yes that would be useful, no rush its one of my projects for a rainy day.

Here you go, pictures of the ADL flat scalar, for prime focus antenna with F/D of 0.36
The depth of the scalar rings on the dish facing side is 29mm and the internal diameter of the central feed/LNB clamp hole is 71mm

Hope the pics help?

That's a deep one John, would you know the reason why they supply different depths? My technical knowledge of dimensions and frequencies, F/D's regarding etc is very poor.

Not 100% sure MB, it could be a F/D thing ??, the scalar was originally fitted with a Ku port as well but the wave guide was in a fixed position on the scalar and not adjustable. I butchered it years ago to try something ... i think it was to retro-fit a modern Universal Ku lnbf instead of the servo type originally fitted.

Have a read here D,

That's a good link, interesting reading .... i knew i'd seen that style of scalar before, i'll carry on refurbing the one i have to do a bit of comparing.

You don't want to buy one J, there about $150 DH antenna sell them, scroll down this instruction manual

60″ H to H Powered | DH Satellite

Get this, drill a hole same size as needed 2x2 wood would be best it will fit down lnb throat better for keeping it straight, then drill the middle hole to same size as laser pen job done.

@moonbase

Hi D,

I didn't have a correct size hole cutter so had to use tape, buy the correct size hole cutter for then LNB, drill it out then drill the middle hole to same size as laser pointer,

Don't buy a long laser pointer you want a small one, long ones will hit the back of the LNB, put screws in it so it can be easily removed when inserted, when using the laser wrap tape round the switch to keep it in the on position,

When inserted make sure the wood is flush all way round with the rim of the LNB.

@moonbase

Ive finished the holder, its only a quick knock up so don't expect perfection :(, but it will work as it should :), ive put you the extra holes in, you wont need them unless you want to install multi feed, its a solid setup with one hole :), Pm me your address and ill get it in the post as soon as I can :),

Please post a few pictures up when you have it installed with LNB,
