I tried one, couldn't get on with it (maybe I should have taken the scalar off.............)

Please post an image of what is right at the front end of the feed, if it has a little array of it's own in shiny chrome plastic then it's the same as mine.

Thanks yes I posted this link here,
2.4 DH Antenna installation

Main thing we need to check when buying is the F/D range is compatible and frequency is 3.4/4,2 some are 3.7/4,2, the one ive bought ticks all the right boxes, its very important to get this correct, expect poor results if not,

This is the one ive bought

There is a PDF file in link.

Dish update, the last few days when time/weather has permitted ive concentrated on lining the dish up on KU band, its still not perfect but my priority was to see how well it performed, its very very sensitive the slightest of adjustment on anything can result from having a very good signal to a very bad one,

Anyhow its performing very well its certainly a keeper for KU band,

Issues I have now, the runway is placed in the best location for the satellite arc, at the moment I can get to 62E before a building blocks the view any further E, I don't really have any issues going West just need to move the dish to avoid a tree at the end of the arc, main issue W is its too close to my fence, at the end of the arc fence is blocking the dish,

Not really a issue to rectify but I do need to raise the dish around 2ft, my intension is to move the dish further up the runway that should open up my easterly arc up, hopefully will be able to see 68.5E fingers crossed,

Then I will raise the dish base, my intension is to jack the base up and use sleeper of cuts under the wheels to raise it,

Please don't ask for pictures use your imagination :)

Is it the sort of runway Harrison Ford avoids ?
