Will have to get a reception report from the Canaries on the aforementioned transponders.

Well for us here its another nail in the coffin. Seems all FTA ITV and CH4 from 2D have been switched off except BBC on 10.773/10.803 H. Also RTE on 10.744H still there.
We can still get ITV's on 12.402V and CH4 on 12.480V with a freesat card.

Nooo.... it's going to hurt when 10818V leaves as we use that for the strongest signals for BBC 1 and 2.

Screw that. Can't we share the channels evenly between 1N and 2D? ;)

here you can see the new 1N transponders, I marked all 1N transponders. The signal level difference is quite clear. I think the BBC hasn't moved because they would need an extra uplink antenna for 1N, which would mean three different satellites.

Does anyone know if all of these transponders are at full strength yet as I seem to remember the channel 5s and early itvs were a bit patchy to start with but are now rock solid here in gandia, spain. If these transmitters are at full strength can someone recommend a better lnb, got a cheap €15 one at the moment. ITV 11050 signal strength 61 quality 97% for info and using a 1M dish and digital 1200 CI.

Can't go wrong with a Inverto Black Ultra LNB. Plenty of talk about them on these forums.

I've noticed the signal quality on the new 1N transponders in the 2D range isn't quite as high as the older 1N channels in the 2C range for me in the UK.

Only 10832 and 10906 are as strong as the the frequencies in the 2C range. The other frequencies are just slightly lower.

Tend not to rely too much on receiver quality readings, but does give an indication.

Yes, I agree. I just posted them out of interest. Also the LNB may be more sensitive at certain frequencies.

Will be interesting to hear from a few more people on the real fringe who just about manage to get Channel 5 and Channel 4 HD with smaller dishes.
