She lives in Langley Park Andy. No doubt there will be covering of snow now!!

Yea you mentioned in an earlier thread, my mum's from Langley Park, small world!

Here's a pic of dish this morning, oddly enough normal signal on 28.2, 19.2 and 13, they're the only ones I've tried so far. Maybe a slightly higher BER but nothing to warrant me leaving the house to clean it off yet

Despite the dire warnings for last night theres been hardly enough to cover the ground in the Galashiels area. However Ive seen some cars from outlying areas with 3-6 inches of snow on the roofs so some white stuff has been falling around the Borders..

More of a problem at the moment is the ice on the roads from where the lying water froze overnight.

You have water that lies? Weird.

Stated snowing with a vengeance again here - the School Bus struggled to get up the slight incline through the village.

Mind you, considering it has a "professional" driver, I wonder why he was clearly in the wrong gear.

Nothing here yet, it's getting cloudy though, and I can feel the cold air rolling into the house (really badly insulated)... :confused

Can't wait for it to snow though, I love snow me, especially when you can walk up a snowy street on a slight incline faster than a BMW which is going backwards more than they're going forwards... :-rofl2

Beautiful cloudless day here. A bit on the 'brisk' side but much better than the doom laden forecasts I'd both read and heard of.

Radio 2 have just done a severe, really, really, nasty weather warning for your area, Buddy.

Take care going home.

It'll be icy - the temperature must be hovering down near zero already. Fortunately I only live a couple of miles out the town and when its icy we always take the long route home - the roads are wider and have hedges along them rather than walls once we get off the A7! :)

No snow at all here in the West, just overcast with a particularly bracing wind. :D

You can have ours - apparently Jedburgh (which is 20 miles down the road) has tons of the stuff lying!

Yes quite possibly, wind has shifted round to NW veering to N, although Chartres is due East of me. The forecast isn't as bad as it was earlier in the week, though with Meteo France you can never tell!!

Another bright sunny cloudless day here. Still cold and there was an overnight frost but no hint of snow (or a plague of frogs).

Bitterly cold here, but sunny.

First job outdoors in an hour, not looking forward to it.

Not out until after lunch now, doing an aerial in a loft, so not too bad. Was on a roof yesterday morning and doing a cable run in the afternoon, it was a bit nippy.:)

@ Pete, thought you were lower down than that.:)

It's a bright sunny day here too, pretty cold with a frosty start, but still no falling white stuff from the sky yet... :(
