Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Been grey, drizzling and misty all morning, and now the wind is definitely beginning to pick up in gust strength.
PS: and I feel pretty rotten anyway this morning from little sleep after a persistent slight cough and the continuous intermittent beeping of the alarm system (due, it seems, to a short telephone Line failure sometime in the early hours - now sorted, having phoned ADT for advice, but then it still occasionally and randomly beeps! :().

I sympathise as I've got a raging Ear Infection that hurts like hell and has temporarily virtually deafened me as the non-infected ear long since gave up its auditory function.

Mild and bright wx this am, but getting a little dreich now.

Don't think I need sympathy as much as you do with that ear infection, as my problem should be mainly sorted with a good night's sleep tonight - OTOH, if that damned alarm beeps again today I'll be back on to ADT to get someone out to find and fix what is causing that problem (it's being doing it occasionally for no reason for months, and the guy who came to do the annual service a few weeks ago just said something like "they do that sometimes" - well, but it shouldn't!)

I just showed the above to my wife - she said "after Caroline this one should called "Storm Dick"" :)
Did NOBODY get the double-entendre in my wife's comment about the weather map in Post #118

I got it too, was busy being in college, and speaking of which, just left Consett where it's just been snowing...:-doh

But then, Consett has it's own unique weather system......

Perhaps meat and 2 veg would have assisted with clarity

Well, SHE didn't need the "culinary" hint - just one glance, and she gave the comment with a wry smile :D

It was stormy enough last night to move the newly re-installed Sky dish round on its new mounting pole.

Obviously I didnt crank the securing nuts up tight enough - so thats another job for the weekend.

Yeah, got to make sure you have tight nuts, or else things can prematurely go floppy... :-lol

Does that mean that you'll have to spend the evening talking to the missus?

Nah - I went outside and shoved it back near enough correct to get the main tp's back. I can tweak the alignment over the weekend - its near enough for now :D

The storm knackered the 13E dish mount - it will have to be redone from scratch as the post has moved so much. :(
