Oh c'mon, that's far too tidy and organised!

Seriously, that's beautiful.

Thank you! I'll maybe post a new thread with some more photos if it's of interest! :)

Im envious of someone who needs a fabulous satellite groundstation for their work :-respekt

So this was the sight which met me on saturday morning

1.JPG

And after overnight snowfall and a couple of hours getting VERY cold outside up the ladders:

It wont win any awards for neatness but the shed is at least more or less watertight again until the estate can repair it properly. Fortunately the felt had come off in one big sheet so I was able to reuse it.

Its a bit of a bodge job and the bottom right corner of the 2nd pic is a mess but in subzero temperatures its a fix.

Ive even fixed the aircraft tracking antenna - the damage wasnt as bad as I thought it was - just the outer pipe had come off and gone sailing off into the field behind us :D

I'd be rather worried about the giant mutant butterfly that is nibbling your shed.

Don't worry, the spider will get it.

A few flurries of snow here about 30 minutes ago, not enough to be of concern.

It's a barmy -1.6C here (though still dark as I write this). It was quite windy yesterday, though not enough to cause damage. Even the twinkly lights I've put up on the drive are still intact...

Just came back from a week's trip around various parts of the country, my greenhouse suffered a broken window:(, but not from an impact, it must have been pretty windy here for it to bend to the point of snapping.

I did wish to share this with you and ask for opinions, the video is direct from the SD card in the camera, not at all edited, just uploaded to Youtube, personally, I am baffled as to what has happened here:- NB, the bin has gone uphill

Indeed and as my security light did not come on as it did with the car (to highlight the number on the bin) it proves nobody has touched it, so what could have done this? my brain? or something we just cannot see?

Thats strange! But our next door neighbours had a small bin go against the wind in the midst of the gale - I found it 75 yards up the other end of the row of cottages - which is near enough westerly where a very very strong north westerly was blowing. Somehow its gone right along the row of cottages without doing any damage to the assorted cars & cans parked outside the front.

Its snowing heavily here - large wet flakes that stick to the faces of the dishes & knock the signals out :(

Forecast suggests a lot of rain/wind over the next two days.

(There are also two BDTH threads running)

Snow last night, now heavy rain and frequent strong gusts courtesy of Barra. There are still people not far from here with no power after Arwen.

We appear to be in the second day of continuous drizzle. Depressing.

Its been dull & foggy with occasional bursts of heavy rain for what feels like weeks :(

Good propagation on 27MHz today though - using a Thunderpole CB rig balanced on the centre console of the car & a mag mount antenna I could hear Spanish operators up & down the EU band.
