Ord would be on the coast at the far left side of this picture i think -- and as you say will have a grandstand view of the cuillins :)

Well, it was frosty this morning, again, and the bathroom was cold enough that the thermometer in there said 12 degrees, so, yep, Summer has definitely gone... O-Ha

I should have thought you were a hardier soul, Deux Chevaux: Cold is when icicles begin to form on the inside of the bathroom window.

Mind you, I did spend yesterday replacing an ancient Trac Clockwork Central Heating timer with a new fangled Dual Channel Electronic Programmer, so thoughts of icicles are definitely valid.

Not for the next few days, the change happens tonight round here, with bucketloads of water to the west, and high winds to the south. Then it all moves upwards.

About three hours left to collect the firewood and put it under wraps.

And it's started, in reverse. Really cold drizzle but no wind, I expect that will change in the next few hours though.

Glorious day here, albeit struggling to get above 11 C.

Might or might not get the Jessie Weather later tonight - but looks nailed on for tomorrow.

Just done a precautionary mowing of the Lawn (Strimmed it, actually, owing to a FUBAR'd Mower).

And the wind has now picked up, driving the rain in from the south east.

Luckily no roof work tomorrow, or Tuesday

What's the betting that the headline news tomorrow will be "Heavy rain soaks the south", while up here, heavy rain causes flash floods, but nobody reports anything on it until a couple of days after? :-rofl2

That's because we're all far too busy nibbling our own nuts.

Continuous rainfall here since lunchtime. I usually take the wheelie bin round to the front via our back alley tonight, but it's staying put. Our alleyway turns ito a river after heavy rain, and the binmen come early. Up early tomorrow, wellies on.
