Astra 2A has been switched off today, with the channels moving to the 2E / 2F pan european beams. I'll update the post #1 main chart with the new satellites once we figure out whats gone where.

Its worth noting that Sky are also slowly increasing the FEC on their widebeam transponders. This gives more bandwidth per tp although it also makes them more difficult to receive in cases where reception of the widebeams is ultra marginal.

I expect an email from my relatives in Lanzarote this weekend when, particularly my aunt, can't watch the Coronation St omnibus. The only way up until today for expats to catch up on some ITV shows - repeated on ITV2(HD).

A manual scan shows ITV2 and 4 have already left 11758. If I do a manual scan on 11053, ITV 2 and 4 appear, I add them, select from Other channels and get 'No satellite signal'. Yet both work on SKy EPG. What's going on?

There are still two channels called ECAM and 4039 on the old 11758H transponder that might still be showing ITV2 HD and ITV4 HD? I can't check as I don't have an HD sub.

ECAM says call broadcaster to upgrade. 4039 just blank and says searching for listings.

The signal strength of ITV 2 / 4 from epg is consistent with higher FEC UK transponders, so wonder if coming from a different ITV (UK) transponder?

Was only talking about ITV 2 HD and ITV 4 HD, which are encrypted. I don't have a strong enough signal when manually tuning the lower FEC 11053, but can watch ITV2 HD / ITV 4HD via epg channel numbers.

Surely if the Sky EPG is now mapped to 11.053H then you wouldn't get them on the EPG, unless some people's STB's are still being pointed to the old TP?

Yeah, it's odd. They aren't broadcasting from the old transponder anymore so wonder if EPG pointing to a different transponder.

I can see no other versions of ITV2 HD and ITV4 HD. Are you manually tuning to the right settings?
