Can't get Astra 2E 2F or 2G? Heres where to find the main psb channels

Label 7480 is showing ITV1 HD Meridian on 11973 V 27500 (2B South beam) FTV with Sky card. Could signal a move back there on Sky EPG in the near future.

U sure? I just checked 11973V and there is only these 4 channels..

Its there mate ,but only a HD box will pick it up. I saw it on a Sky+ HD box and it was working, and today a Humax HD Freesat box tuned it in but would not show it as its encrypted.

The BBC frequency on Astra 2B south (12441V) ceases on October 7th 2011

5 of the BBCi services will be moved onto 11954H (2A south) Two others will be axed completely.

Make the most of the widebeam ITV's, C5 family & C4HD. They will be moving over to the uk beam on Astra 1N in the near future. Three transponders are already testing with the channels on them.



Viewers in Spain / Portugal will probably get better signals whilst 1N is in use, but we know Cyprus cant get the 1N signals that transmit on the uk beam.

A second ITV transponder will be moved over to the 1N uk beam in the near future. Presumably this will be 12402V,and will wreck expat ITV reception in the eastern Mediterranean.

C4 HD has been discontinued off the Eurobird 1 widebeam and is now only carried on the Astra 1N uk beam.

Five USA / +1 / 5* / +1 will go fta on December 8th, therefore will be discontinued off the widebeams around this date.

CH 5, 5 usa and 5* gone off. No signal but if manually tuned on a digibox, channels are found and can be stored ( 12.422 H) but when selected it says no signal. But on my technomate tm 500 (c/s)they still work on that frequency.

Yup the Sky epg was remapped to the Astra 1N uk beam versions today - Ive updated the master list on the first post to reflect the new situation.

The 12402H / 12422H channels will be discontinued in the next few days so make the most of them if you have problems with the 1N channels..
