Can't get Astra 2E 2F or 2G? Heres where to find the main psb channels

More4 +2 has started on Astra 1N 11126V 22000 5/6. This is a short term holding channel for the new channel in the C4 family -- 4seven -- which launches in a few weeks time.

More4 +2 is a place holder channel - its only on for a few hours in the evening. Try around 2000 uk time

For expats using the encrypted ITV regions on the widebeam - we finally have a time frame for their eventual switch to the UK 1N beam, thanks to this comment from Emma Scott (from Freesat) on the Joinfreesat site

Q. What is being sorted with ITV to offer the correct regional TV for the relevant postcode area? It would appear that many ITV regions still remain hidden behind the pay wall (encrypted).

A: Work to add more ITV regions on Freesat is already underway, thanks to the availability of a new UK-targeted satellite (Astra 1N). The work will continue over the next couple of months and we expect this change to be complete by the end of summer 2012, if not sooner.

New ITV Txp, clone of 12402V, migration expected shortly which should remove the remaining ITV1 SD regions and sub regions (+ ITV1+1 Yorks) off Astra 2A's widebeam. This should also bring these sub-regions to Freesat and thus both Sky and Freesat EPG's concurrent postcode allocation-wise.

Its ITV - it'll be the UK beam

Therefore zero reception in Eastern Europe/Cyprus

Just noticed today there is nothing on 12402 anymore....so confirms that they have moved.

I confirm that...they were working till about 3:00pm CET than went off..
I can still see the transponder (12402) on promax explorer but it wont read any channel data..

Same here,must have had 50 phone calls today ,now battery has died peace at last !

I know someone here in Western Greece (Lefkas) who gets all the 1N UK beam stuff on a 2.5 mt offset dish, but I've lost all now that PSB stuff now (apart from some Irish channel 4 stuff) time to cancel SKY methinks!

Sounds like a sharp drop off from Greece the further east you go. Why cancel Sky? All the main encrypted channels are still there...

Because having had SKY for ever I've seen almost everything on offer (and of interest) several times already and of course the money would come in handy :-)

That is because that transponder is no longer carrying any channels.
