CH 5, 5 usa and 5* gone off. No signal but if manually tuned on a digibox, channels are found and can be stored ( 12.422 H) but when selected it says no signal. But on my technomate tm 500 (c/s)they still work on that frequency.

CH5 HD on 12266 H is the only version left working on skyboxes.

And that's another thing. I have some customers asking why they have lost channel % but their friend still gets it. And it's because of the post code assigned to their card. Some areas/cards are assigned to the FTA 10.773H version.
And some people can get all the 5's on their dr*ambox still.

All C5's & the associated family of channels on 12422H have now ceased, and 5* / 5USA are now only carried on the 1N uk beam..

That leaves CH5 on 2D and CH5 HD for us. For the time being.

And it looks like the SD C5 is about to move as well - a new label carrying the "missing" C5 has appeared on the 1N tp!

BTW - all 1N C5's, and the 5*'s & 5USA 's went fta this morning. :)

Just label 7720 (C5 +1) is still encrypted - and that one will go clear on Dec 6th at the latest...

The ITV's on 11973V have been swapped over to Astra 1N today, and are now lost to anyone outside the 1N footprint.

2D has now been turned off and all services have migrated across to 1N.

I'll update the main chart to reflect the current situation.

Got it thank you although the picture is attempting to breakup.
ITV Mer SE
ITV Yorks
and
ITV Meridian S w don´t break up so much.

I´d really like to find an alternative to BBC News on 10803 H because it keeps breaking up and goes off in the evening.

Nothing else available on 28E, however there is the similar BBC World News - 19E, 13E, or numerous other sats.

Either the dish is not big enough or it is not aligned. Dish must be 90cm wide and 100cm tall (in other words a real 90cm dish). Even with a dish that size alignment is critical due to Astra 1N being the jam in the sandwich between high power transponders 30E and 26E. TBH, a 1.2m dish would be a much better choice for its narrower beamwidth and better rain margin.

BTW, where are you? What town? Please update your location and your system information so it is easier to post helpful information that is specific to you.

Thank you. I just don´t like BBC World as much as BBC News. BBC News works sometimes and I´ll stick with it. When it doesn´t I´ll go off to those nice people at SKY News. Amazing how Sky News always works, almost anywhere.

I am in Murcia. As an aside I tried to edit my profile to include size of dish etc but can not find the link.
I have three dishes, 80cms, 100 cm, and 140 cms.
I haven´t used the 80 since BBC Prime moved away from Hotbird.
Within the last couple of weeks I have fitted the 100 cm a twin LNB and hooked up my three FTA receivers to it using a splitter for two of them.
I am not using the 140 for the time being. This is at the back of the house. the other two are at the front. Much less cable.
I have been trying to decide whether to fit a quad LNB to do away with the splitter or to move the 140 cm dish to the front next to the 100 cm and have a twin on each.
Strangely enough the 140 cm dish was not giving me as good a recption as the 100 cm which is why I am using it.

Splitter = really bad idea.

Apart from reducing efficiency, you risk causing LNB switching conflicts.

Standard rule is one dedicated feed per tuner (for simple systems, lest the hi-falutin brigade take exception!)

A properly aligned 140cm with good quality cabling under 40m or so should perform very much better than a 100cm ... but as the beamwidth is narrower, final alignment and optimisation needs to be more accurate. The downside risk is possibly failing to get adequate performance from 28.2E and 28.5E at the same time.

Twelve new test labels have appeared on Astra 1N 10921H tagged as 3081 - 3092.

I wouldnt be at all surprised to see the remaining ITV or C4 widebeam channels move here at some point.

Nothing is confirmed at the moment so dont bother asking! Info will be provided as & when it becomes available

ITV Tyne Tees South has ceased off 12402V and has been removed from the master list in post #1
