Actually the lemans is relevant to F1.
Both huge crashes at Lemans is when faster cars are overtaking slower cars.
One of the issues of haveing multiple category cars in the same race.
So think a F1 grid of 20 cars, and then at the same time on the same race and same grid another 20 cars all with Hispania performance, all getting in the way of the better performing cars....
Yet they allow cars outside the 107% rule to start the race...when they will either fail to finish the race or end up being 10 laps down.
