You know I rarely 'split hairs' :-rofl2 but strictly a 'conducteur' is just a driver whereas a F1 driver is referred to as a 'pilote'.

Well we'll leave that one hanging ................... some are, some aren't.

Vettel, for example, still has to persuade me he is the latter rather than the former.

How does yours hang?

......nicely thanks.

BTW: If EJ had to go paintballing just before the BBC started coverage, I think he should have had the decency to change..... (and mauve???)

Shamilton now using the "racism" card for his constant visits to the stewards - was his "is it coz i is black" a joke or for real? He just cant accept the fact that he makes mistakes! The chap just gets more cocky arrogant and full of himself allt he time.
I think thats the first and last time I have him in my teams.
Great race, much better than the previous processions., not much DRS action, more tyre wear.

What a race - one of the best Monaco races for years, shame we were robbed of the last 6 lap scrap from the leading 3 all of whom were on different tyre strategies.

Hamilton proved hes been having lessons at the cheating Kraut's school of passing slower traffic - and like Schumi its quite obvious he gets rattled under pressure and makes mistakes.

Congratulations to sonnetpete & kleefar who both score a magnificent ton in the league.

However its Tivu who is starting to pull away from the rest of the pack, with Norm & Rick squabbling over second place.

Next race - Canada on June 12th :)

I am gutted, I was set for a decent points haul until Petrov was left with nowhere to go sitting in 6th place having driven up from mid pack. The race was red flagged and had it not been re-started I think positions given at the end of the lap previous would have given me a decent points score whereas Petrov was awarded 6 points for the 72 laps he completed, seems a little unjust but well thats racing.

If you missed DC & EJ ending up in the Red Bull pool you can see it here:

(probably UK viewers only)

Only just seen this - we went out at the end of the race :D

All great fun, but the BBC were already pushing their luck employing DC at all, let alone as wing man to the truly excellent Brundle .................... but this sort of cosy relationship with Red Bull is totally unacceptable.

It won't be me, 'cos` I can't be ar*ed, but I suspect there will be a LOT of complaints.

Roll on Canada. Monaco is one of my least enjoyed tracks, I think its more about luck than skill. True, luck plays a part on any track, but it seems to be the main factor at Monaco, personally I enjoy seeing a fantastic drive and cunning strategy win out.

All I can say about our team selections for that race Tivu, is great minds must think alike. :D I really thought Hamilton was going to take poll after Q1+2, though points wise Hamilton 2nd with a Red Bull on Pole would have been better.

Not only them but Vettell and Christian Horner too. Hope the pools filters were up to it.....there must have been so much bull***t in there.

@ Tivµ : Is DC freelance, or employed by the BBC, or Red Bull? Though I agree, it's getting very close to 'product placement' if not advertising.

He just has!

Vettel has just hit "champions walls" in FP1,and wrecked the front of his car, and red flaged the session!

I'd imagine a lot of the teams will be "really dissapointed" LOL.

Yes but that is the true sign of a champion he does it in quali 1 and thus has time to rebuild the car to get pole position
