Its no good, Norm is going to have to be nobbled somehow. A change of the rules maybe - it always works for Ferrari so why not here?? :D

Lets see - all his team components have to be from the Hopeless Hispanias or the Vulnerable Virgins maybe :-rofl2

Oi!! Don't give away my team strategy!! I think we should insist that his hot exhaust gases are tightly restricted and that they aren't diffused in some nefarious manner.

Well I had given up on Hamilton and replaced him with Alonso ................... then Hamilton has to pull out a terrific Lap!

Typical of the man (Fortunately for the Sport)

Im currently in north westrn Slovenia and as its absolutely hosing it down here we are watching the F1 on SLO TV 2. :D

The commentators definitely seem to be biased towards the Ferraris - they get very excited when the prancing horses are featured on screen :D :D

Yup a good race even tho I dont understand the commentary!

Imagine a vewry wet day in Blaneau Festiniog - but with bigger mountains, and you wont be far wrong about the weather here.

However we dids find a very nice cake shop this morning - 4 cups of excellent coffee and 2 huge slabs of homemeade apple strudel for just over Eu 8

Thats cheaper than it would have been in BF!

:D

Drool ................. Sacher Torte is my fave, though.

Webber, Alonso and Hamilton all broke rules on the way back to Parque Fermé!

Webber gave a lift to Alonso and Hamilton left the compound.

Pleeeease no penalties or a hatful of points is going west!!

Missed that one, as I turned it over for the final day of "Le Tour". It won't affect the Fantasy League results as it's taken "as they cross the line". Hamilton finally came good though and just how the heck did Vettel (with one 'L' please DC) get past Massa in the pits? Dissapointing race from Vettel, maybe his bottom lip was causing aerodynamic drag.

F1 on Sky - Sky to show all races and all sessions live in HD.
BBC to show half the races live, and extended highlights of others..

So will the Sky coverage be FTA ....................... ??

Had a quick look at a few articles this morning and haven't revealed that crucial info yet.

But I suspect the slippery slope has begun.

So, doing the maths.....that's an extra £25 per month to watch F1? Don't think so! Back to RTL then.

An interesting point...nothing mentioned, but if it was FTA then think adbreaks...
but I think it may well be PAY on Sky Sports...

The thing is people are already saying "Bah Sky taking over the world again", when its the BBC cutting costs, renegotiating their deal (originally they had all races until then end of 2012!) and basically Sky coming to the rescue!

Hmm, I think Bernie has simply sold out his principles (must have very few left now) - He has so often said F1 must remain Free To Air.

And Sky are even more disreputable by association with the Murdochs and News International.

A terrible decision on all levels.

But, as stated, there's still RTL.

Edit: A typical Bernie headline from April 2011 "Bernie Ecclestone warns selling F1 to Sky would be "suicide""

Time for Dignitas?

PlanetF1 Forums are buzzing with negativity - dick d******ly (wink) is in fine form.

And yes, I do know it's also part of the Murdoch Empire!

Jermey Darroch has just said "F1 will get the full sky sports treatment, HD, 3d!..."

Didnt bernie also say "no to f1 3d for the foreseeable future".
But then he also said "keep f1 on FTA telly"
And "no f1 on HD, and 3 months later "F1 is now in HD!"
And " No I did not pay anyone any backhanders" to "whoops yes I did!"
A true busienss man is bernie, looking after his daughters inheritance and not the viewers.

Martin Brundle is not impressed...
"Found out last night, no idea how it will work yet I'm out of contract, will calmly work through options. Not impressed."

Maybe this is bernies way of punishing the BBC...remember Jake going into pitlane during race conditions in Canada when the race was "halted", or their disrespect of parc ferme rules in valencia, or Leggard...

Oh by the way...congrats to norm on another weekend racing and another ton on the race points...
