When Sky get all the coverage (and its only a matter of time now) F1 in the uk is finished as a major spectator sport.

Look what happened to cricket once Sky got their grubby mitts on it - interest dropped dramatically.

I also refer the honourable gentleman to the fact that I am at present entertaining my sister in law and stepdaughter which is taking up much of my valuable televisual timetable.............that and the fact that I'm stuck in the middle of the grid. I also note the honourable gentleman is on the front row and am pleased to use this opportunity to offer my congratulations........:mad::mad:

Soon dry off - but in a way I hope we have some rain showers for the Race. Always good value.

Have you seen the News about the sick fake article about JB being seriously injured in a car crash? What is the matter with some people?

I hope Shamilton goes to the stewards and gets a severe bollocking for his dangerous spin in the direct line of the drivers...the drive thru is nothing...bet the FI driver was cacking himself when he saw Shamilton spinning towards him!
On second thoughts...ban him.....:-)

What a way to celebrate your 200th GP!! Well done JB. I think Hamilton was definitely due a penalty for spinning round in traffic, can't take anything away from his aggressive style but sometimes it borders on reckless.

Oh, and who'd be a marshall or mechanic? Exploding engines, spinning cars, whatever next?

Well at least Lewis had the grace and decency to apologise to Di Resta on air and in person straightaway.

As for Heidfeld's exploding Lotus Renault, we had smaller ships in the RN that used Deltic Engines (as per older Railway Trains) and they often used to send con-rods spinning through the crankcase. Nasty.

That's a bit unfair ........... Lewis is not known for toeing the partty line and I thought he displayed far more maturity than at other times this Season!

Havent watched the race yet, but the Radio 5 commentary kept us amused on the loooong haul up the M6 from Manchester :D (Remote record on the Sky+ is a hand tool :) )

I'll do some sort of round up when Im a bit less spaced out from the driving.

Its been a long tome since Ive heard the Hungarian GP described as exciting - its normally a bore fest due to the limited overtaking opportunities

Hungary - tournament qualifying performance

An excellent performance by wobbles - scoring 29 qualifying points. Our Yorkshire tyke Tivu was second with an also impressive 26.

These were the only competitors to break 20 this week.

Four teams broke 100 points in Hungary - and its probably surprising we did as well as that considering the topsy turvy race caused by the wet - dry - wet - dry conditions.

So the big winners this week:

107 - Tivu
107 - Norm (next year Norm you are restricted to the bottom 5 teams for your selections :D)
104 - Scotborders F1 run by my good self
102 - dazdazdazzy

Barring a complete implosion (or should that be explosion following the demise of Heidfelds Renault this afternoon!) its a 2 way scrap between Tivu and Norm - and with Norm being almost 70 points ahead of Tivu my money is on Norm being our league champion again.

Oh - and of course a mention of our F1 expert's performance in the overall league. An EXCELLENT 20th place overall. :-worship

Tivu just fails to break into the top 400 with an overall placing of 401 - which is also a creditable performance when you think there are thousands of folk taking part.

Ginetta Juniors (BTCC support races) up to their usual levels of great racing, great overtaking and cars all over the place as usual!

I don't know about anybody else, but this year's Summer break in the schedule seems eternal - two weeks without a Race and another two still to go.

Maybe it's good to get us used to the paucity of free coverage in future years?

I am amusing myself (and nobody else) with mindless drivel on PlanetF1 Forum ................ which contrary to my understanding is no longer part of the Murdoch empire.

"Will Lewis be the first F1 driver on the Moon"

"Will he crash his Landing Module"

Gosh, I'm bored.
