Bit of confusion channel hopper, my original post was not a pm to blademedia because as you have rightly told me i am under the minimum post and if i am allowed to ask the question again to blademedia in the open forum i assure you blademedia the original question was not about card sharing ,keys etc and my hobby is also feed hunting like you.Thanks.

Hi Mike,
I bought from the UK store, the box took around three days to arrive, then I ordered three more they took three days,

Have you tried to contact the seller ?

Very helpful thanks blademedia, yes contacted seller and the message i got was there is a delay by customs when all his boxes where sent to his uk store but that is telling me they are coming from is abroad store even though i ordered from his uk store so i assumed the box was ready to ship straight away, anyway do you think i should cancel now for a full refund and put a paypal dispute as i am fuming.

Hi Mike, its obviously deceitful taking your money and promising a few days delivery when he knows he's waiting for stock, It would get my back up,

If you cancel you could be in the same boat with another seller, personally I would bite the bullet and give him bad feedback when it arrives, its a great little box for feeds, keep us informed it will be useful for other buyers :)

Mike knew that, which is why he wanted to PM BM. But he couldn't, so we've let the interruption ride.

That's it, chaps. Nothing to see here ;)

Well sorry to spoil your evening chris1979 and skomedal,i was asking blademedia a question as we had bought a satellite box from the same seller off the bay so we had something in common and the question i asked was specifically for him admittedly i know this thread was about the freesat v7 box and i bought a different box and as lazarus as pointed out i am not able to private message blademedia so the mods let the interruption ride so i am sorry one or two of you feel the thread went off topic, hope that clears that up.

As skomedal pointed out, the thread, as with a lot of our threads, went off topic sometime ago, so no problem mike33.
Hopefully your receiver will arrive soon, or you will get a full refund.
With your listed satellite setup, and length of membership, I'm surprised you haven't already reached sufficient posts, but perhaps you don't have the free time, or you frequent other forums.
Please let us know how your problem progresses, and let us know what you think of your new receiver, if it ever arrives.

No, the same with me...

Thanks C, thought so, I set my dishes up with a STB and its fully maxed out on all receivable transponders at 0.8W, no sign of spot 2 though :(, will find a less generous box for fine tuning.

Got mine yesterday :) see what you mean about it being the size of a fag packet.

Quite impressed with the tuner.

Does anyone know what av cable I would need to buy, so I can plug it in to a scart TV.

I have tried the raspberry pi av cable, if I can find my now TV av cable I will give that a try.

Somewhere in England (possibly?)!
Chris

There is a diagram of possible connections on P6 of the manual - but it does not show a TV with a SCART input (I seem to remember those from "way back!). You could use the little "AV" socket and some phonos or with a phono-to-SCART adapter - but I'd be inclined to try something like this HDMI to SCART adapter (plus another SCART-SCART lead to the TV) as the video quality from the HDMI socket (which is actually very good to start with) will be far better than the composite video from the AV socket.

Not with the box at the mo, but I think it would be a 3.5mm jack plug (3 rings) to scart plug.

Sorry, did mean 3.5mm jack to SCART lead - but the connection via an HDMI-to-SCART converter would probably be a lot better (composite video is a lot worse than SCART RGB - think 405 line definition).
