To CityAerials - Many thanks for the UK transponder file. It worked perfectly to reprogram my Horizon HDSM v2.5 (serial version) for UK use. I was wondering if there is still a way to modify or change the list?

The Horizon SatEdit v1.23 program allowed you to program the HORIZON meter but I cannot find a link to download the program. Does any one know of a download location?

You might find something on a US site where the meter was badged 'Birdog'.

In the end I found a complete installation package and my old files on a hard drive backup. I enclose it here and have put it also on another thread which was askingthe same question. The Birdog site warns not to use their files on the Horizon meters!

Most of the Astra 2 parameters have changed in the past month and I doubt they will be staying the same for long.

that's too bad. I can also change the data myself. see appendix. but where can I find the correct information on the internet that I have to fill in.

Ver 2.5 is the older type meter and I'm not aware of any firmware available for that now, only usb.
What satellites/transponders do you require?

Good Evening . I would like HOT BIRD 13 , EUTEL SAT 13 , EUTEL SAT 9A , 9E , EUTEL SAT 7A , 7E HELLAS SAT etc if you enter the program that is still open in the company you will see what the package includes GR 315051 .

Try this for usb v3 gave me all transponders including skyQ double hotbird thor and astra

Please accept a massive "Thankyou" from me to everyone who's contributed to this thread. My favorite (old) HDSM v2.5 is now reprogrammed with a list of satellites needed for a motorised dish (with new motor fitted, but only roughly aligned as my last list from the Horizon website was totally out of date). I wouldn't have been able to update the meter without your help guys - it's very much appreciated.
