Is there CAM to get skytv on DVB-S tuner card?

Just got my B/band connection back aftera couple of hours 'O'-red

Have you tried it with box id set to auto (boxid=0 in the NDSCam ini file)? That's how I have it, at least it should find the non-premium channels (I don't have any others).
In fact, if I put my box id in, I occasionally have the problem you describe.

Here's my NDSCam log using a freesat card opening up FIVE (normally FTV only). I don't have access at present to my subs card.

As you can see, EMM packets aren't received, but the channel opens anyway.

what log? - i think you might have forgot to post it.

Do yuo think it might have anything to do with the version of NDS/softCSA i have downloaded? i have SoftCSA 300. Should the MDplugins be in the dvbviewer root folder? could you suggest what setting phoenix mode should be on?

Could it be the card reader - or is it working if it has detected the card? sometimes cas studio doesnt connect to the device and i have to unplug and plug it in again to get it to start.

Does softcas need to be set to "decode all" - what version are you using? - if i use the same versions and settings that you have and you can get it to work and i cant, then it can only be the card reader or the card i guess.

Can't see it being the card reader, that's just a dumb terminal. Your card is being read, so NDSCam is working. I'll check my version of SoftCSA, I'm sure it's version 300 like yours. Also I'll check the file placement and see if it tallies with yours. . When I can get at the PC they're on - the room's out of bounds ATM - Hoovering in progress 2

OK, as I have SoftCSA-300, the folders inside, MDPlugins, Plugins and the three .dll files are distributed in my DVBViewer as follows -

[1] MDPlugins folder in DVBViewer's root directory. NDSCam.dll, NDSCam.ini and NDSCam_logs go inside MDPlugins.

[2] Plugins folder in DVBViewer's root directory. In this folder are already SoftCSA.ini and SoftCSA.dll.

[3] The three .dll files that come with SoftCSA-300 (CSA.dll, FFDecsa.dll and MakroCSA.dll) go in DVBViewer's root directory.

If yours are already as shown, I can't think what's preventing it from working.

So you dont think it could be the card reader? that and the card are pretty much the only differences between my setup, yours and kuch kuch.

Would've thought the card reader would be similar to the one in my CAS3+ as they are both Duolabs and use Duolabs' CAS Studio software. In any case, as it's Phoenix compatible and is reading your card it's unlikely to be the cause of your problem.

Ok, so by the logs, the card reader is doing what it is supposed to? would it not be worth try the something like cas3+ or infinity?

So so you think it could be the card? Didnt kuchkuch get it to work on a similar card? + you can get stuff like discovery whereas i cant..

when you use cas studio, do you just go to utilities and set it to phoeniex 3.87 , press hide and thats all?

That's how I have it. Got to be something wrong or missing in the decryption process. Need some time to think about it.
