This was the hardest decision I have yet to give, with Satellites RED and my own Dynamo Sol team having quite incredible ends to the year.

But there can only be one Manager of the Month.

The award will, as much as I'd like to give it to myself, have to go to T_G for the rise from a lowly 17th at the start of the month to 10th and only 42 points off a top 5 spot.

Elsewhere, the bumper December programme of 6 Gameweeks has seen change all-round. Dynamo and Tossers replace Dragoes (2nd at the end of November) and the Hoys in the Champions League positions, and T_G son's team Manchester RED are a mere 6pts off the top 5* with Allstars and rolfw's Screwballs also breaking into the top half.

Donkeytown's lead at the top has been cut to 84pts - could we be seeing another spring collapse as Screwballs suffered last season?

* Neither Manchester RED or RED United can qualify for the Champions League as the team managers are not forum members. If they were to finish in the top 5, a place in the CL would drop to 6th.

Crimbo Crunch

So it's been a brillaint Christmas period for the Satellites RED team and manager T_G, who is our Christmas Crunch champion :-HoHo:-HoHo:-HoHo! T_G's son also did well, with Manchester RED in 2nd, while 15th-in-the-standings john_graydon had a fantastic run of games to come in 3rd.

----------------------------------------------

Stats a Fact

As it's the FA Cup 3rd round weekend (and good luck to all the teams competing, including Chasetown!), I thought I'd pull out some facts from the SupaLiga season, which is now over half-way through:

AFTER Gameweek 21, Dragoes have been the most improved of the 2006/07 team from their final standing last season to present, up 4 places from 11th to 7th at present.

PARALETIC Athletic's season has not gone as planned - ending up 4th last season, they are struggling in 16th at present.

AVERAGING the scores from all the members, the old members of the league have been performing better than those that joined for the first time this season - 985.8 to 963.

TRANSFER are all-important, but having a good initial squad might arguably be even more of a priority. Make what you will of this:

PL Fantasy Cup:

Third Round results:
Creatures 50-49 Barns XI - Close by the Creatures carry on!
North West Murkaz 61-62 Dragoes - The SupaLiga team truimph again, just!

Jackza 68-56 Germania Köln - Germanai are jack'd and OUT!
RED United 67-59 All Ya Ma's - United gave it to ya ma-ma!

Fourth Round draw:
Creatures v Anh FC (unaffiliated) - All-Asian tie!
Brimble Athletic (unaffiliated) v Dragoes
Satellites RED v Kenneth's FC (unaffiliated)
Spew Allstars (Crapper's Bog League) v RED United

The Saturday games have seen another astonishing turn of events, with Toontastic now only 44pts behind all-season leaders Donkeytown. However, while all of Malc's XI have taken to the field, Norm still has Pompey's Distin and James yet to play.

Manchester RED have already scored a massive 94pts, and have moved from 5th to 3rd this evening. The Mancs are now level on points with Dynamo, with the Creatures are down to 5th. Also seeing massive jumps up the standings are Satellites RED and Screwballs, 6th and 7th having scored 95 and 92pts respectively.

Johny's Oles have also scored 92 so far, and with Santa Cruz and Distin yet to figure, will be surely hoping to break into treble figures.

I'm guessing alot of people love Ronaldo tonight :-rofl2

Wow - not having Ronaldo at the moment looks like a serious error of judgement!

I must get it because I am the only one left in the cup. Plus, a couple of months ago I was way down the league, but a series of special training sessions with Ronaldo, Tevez and Vidic made the difference!

You won't have to wait to long to find out, I think I shall get out the results tonight sometime. Winning it two months in a row would be some achievement :)

It was yet another hard-fought month across the league, of which this month's award winner - T_G's son 'Sir Alex' - is the stand-out performer.

In just 2 months, Manchester RED have gone from mid-table slumber to razor sharp title challengers. 27 points, just 27 points, is the slim advantage that champions Donkeytown now holds over the Mancs, and with malcolm's Toons also only 41pts off, Norm can ill afford another poor month.

T_G's REDs continue to make waves as well, they sit in 4th now after climbing higher than any other outfit this month. T_G's rise up the standings has, in fact, been even more gobsmacking than his high 'n' mighty son's. 17th at the start of December, T_G has scored 706pts in just 2 months!

The third member of the REDolution, RED United, have impressed as well, up 5 places to 15th.

And finally... Topper will be proper tossed off, having dropped out the top 5, as have the Creatures.

----------------------------------------------

PL Fantasy Cup:

Sixth Round results:
Satellites RED 85-72 TooLoose

Seventh Round draw:
Rostrevor Rovers (unaffliated) v Satellites RED

Most points in a month, most places up, last and only one left in the cup and I get only 2cd place? And to add to it all my son, who is going to give me lip now is first???!!!!!
