I was tempted to say the same however, the bolts in my neck would not have taken kindly to the heavy G force Humping

Yep, I've well and truly pissed away any hope of a steady run-in - I'm not angry, just extremely disappointed. Report coming up...

[fieldset=Victory for Raikkonen, glory for Fisichella at Spa-Francorchamps] Hot from F1.com

attachment.php

Kimi Raikkonen became the sixth different victor in six races after putting Ferrari back in the winners' circle for the first time in 2009, with a finely judged success in Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix, in which his KERS system played a crucial role in the opening stages. But he was dogged all the way to the flag by a gallant Giancarlo Fisichella in the Force India, who kept him honest throughout on the first medium downforce circuit of the season. Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel drove strongly to third...

F1 SupaLiga 2009

Full table and graph attached

Kimi Raikkonen won his and Ferrari's first race of the season, but were it not for the safety car, the Finlander might not have passed Force India's Giancarlo Fisichella, the surprise pole-sitter whose performace this weekend may well see him become Kimi's new teammate in place of Felipe Massa's current seatwarmer, Luca Badoer. The aforementioned safety car came out as result of a first lap incident which resulted in the retirement of, amongst others, Brits Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button. Button's championship lead is down to 16pts now, with Brawn GP colleague Rubens Barrichello finishing in 7th and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel in 3rd today.

The surprise podium for Fisichella and retirements of Hamilton and Button, together with the many peculiar events this race, has rewarded and punished many of the SupaLiga managers in equal measure.

The top headline from Spa is the change on leadership. With a lead of 52pts going into this weekend, your league secretary will openly admit to feeling confident in his hopes of finally claiming the F1 SupaLiga crown. That confidence, however, was misplaced as a dismal 48pts has cost Auto-Dynamo 1st place. BTTR, managed by Dazdazdazzy, are back on top for the first time since Great Britain, and a top score of 112pts demonstrates that the tide has turned once again in this battle for the title.

The fight for 3rd, and a place in next season's PFF1 Cup, is by no means over as Norm's F1 Aberdeen could only muster a pitiful 65pts. If a challenge is to come, it will most likely be from the reigning F1 SupaLiga champion, Oily, who with a score today of 101pts has jumped 4 places to 4th and with one race remaining in the European season, is in prime position to take the European Cup.

It was a case of change all-a-round in the top 12, with Creatures also moving up 2 places to 8th - with a very respectable 111pts - and Pro-Drive dropping to a season low of 9th.

And finally, wooden spoon guardian Chris has achieved a three-figure score not just for the first time this season, but for the first time since the 2007 European Grand Prix!

Not unexpected and TBH I think he deserves a chance to drive for Ferrari, I think he will be OK and give Kimi a run for his money. I wonder who will take his place at Force India...Nelson Piquet perhaps or Antony Davidson?

Nelson is person non grata in F1 after squealing on Renault (allegedly .......), according to "sources"!

ITV F1 suggest Tonio Liuzzi will step up from Test Driver.

Hot from F1.com

Giancarlo Fisichella will race for Ferrari at the remaining five rounds of 2009 after Force India agreed to release him from his contract on Thursday. Fisichella will replace Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer as stand-in for the injured Felipe Massa, starting at next weekend's Italian Grand Prix. Force India have yet to confirm who will take over from Fisichella alongside Adrian Sutil, though third driver Vitantonio Liuzzi is already being tipped to succeed his fellow Italian...

Liuzzi is a dead cert I should think, IMO his a better driver than Piquet anyway let alone the fact that's his testing for Force India. Liuzzi's problem is that he can be a little too aggressive, not that it's a bad thing of course.

I dont rate him at all, I think he's rubbish...

Anthony Davidson would of been a better choice, What-ever happened to Gary Paphet coming in to F1?
