Well 18th at the end of Round 2!! Not bad out of 20 players and considering some of my team have never even got off the subs bench (inspired team selection) and the ones that have only play half a match or get yellow carded. Oh, and the subs window opens after my bedtime!!

It seems that the side I selected actually do want to play like France. I.E. be sent home in a huff, have a public bustup on the training pitch, bad mouth the manager and probably go on strike. Who would be the manager of a national side huh?? At least I can't be sent to work in a tractor factory!!

I have taken a carving knife to my team so will probably not get in a positive position this round

At least I have found out now how to change my team players and when to make substitutions, like you I would normally be asleep at such times of the day

Just play with substituting players, it will recalculate to formation automatically.

The World Cup has come alive, despite England and France's best efforts at dumbing down the standard! Holland and Brazil have qualified for the knock-out phase, while the Argentines are almost certainly through. Germay's loss to Serbia and Italy's draw with New Zealand mean their WC destiny hangs in the balance but is still in their hands, as is England's. Sadly, it seems in the first African World Cup, no African team will make it through to the next round, as the most likely candidates Ghana will have to beat Germany while Ivory Coast have to overturn a huge goal difference from Portugal against North Korea.

aamir007's Spain continue at the top of our World Cup, leading with 171pts. In 2nd currently is the Netherlands of pazinho, trailing the leader by seven points.

Taking 3rd spot at this stage is Norm with Italy, as my Lions have fallen to 4th in the standings, just in front of Analoguesat's 'Glorious' North Koreans, having hit the 150pts mark.

This round of matche's biggest climber was rolfw, whose Swiss team have gone up six places into 13th, but B16MCC has had a terrible time with Cameroon as his Indomitable Lions have dropped badly and now rest at joint 16th with tomthebomb1968's Northern Ireland.

I think Capello should go with Defoe & Crouch up front. Cant believe he didnt bring Adam Johnston with him, think he would be better than Glen.

Well England were dreadful and on that performance dont deserve to qualify.

However my North Korea team has rocketed back up to 5th place so the Glorious Leader is exceptionally happy atm!
